Staff was great and the cruise was very well organized.

We had friends up from the Bay Area and to celebrate decided on a sunset cruise. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable and easy-going. The food and wine were delicious. The views were spectacular, of course. We booked our tickets online, which was very easy. Checking in was painless and boarding a breeze. I highly recommend it!

When we checked in we tried to use a $5 per person coupon that stated that if you had made previous reservations you qualified. The clerk that checked us in said that because we made the reservations through you we didnt qualify. the cruise was very nice and the capt. and first mate were outstanding.

This was a very intimate sailing cruise as you are sitting quite close to other people. We engaged in conversation with the people around us and it was very nice to chat with them and learn where they were from, etc. One family was quite large and extended and they seemed to be having a good time. I was concerned when I saw the small children, I thought it was inappropropriate to bring them on a sunset cocktail cruise as they have other times available during the day. But they were well behaved. I thought the appetizers were excellent. However I felt a better wine should have been offered and it was not considered premium chardonnay. It was a bulk bottle of Woodbridge. But the beers offered were great. That was my only complaint. But other than that, everything was fabulous. I would highly recommend the sailing cruise.

A perfect way to wind down the day and start the evening... Kevin, the 1st mate, was a hoot - entertaining and efficient. Winds were relatively calm so it was a pretty mellow sail. But the weather was warm and beautiful and we had a great time. thanks to Captain Mike and Kevin for a great couple of hours.

With fewer than 25 people on board, and just the sound of the wind and the waves, this two hour sail cruise is a great way to enjoy the lake. The captain and first mate made the trip pleasant for us all, and the views are great. Note, however, that the sailboat does not include a visit to Emerald Bay. This sail was a highlight of our trip to Tahoe.

I go on an afternoon sail at least once each year with Tahoe Sailing Charters and have always enjoyed the time on the water. The boat is comfortable, the captain and crew friendly, and the experience -- always the best.

The captain was terrific with the young children and let them help steer the boat. We had a family group of 3 generations and some of the adults in our group had never been on a sailboat. It was a highlight for young and old.

Loved being able to enjoy the views without the traffic.

The cruise itself was okay. However, it is advertised as a sunset cruise and we did not stay out for the sunset at all, far from it. If you just want a sailing experience, it s great, but pricey for that. The crew on the boat was great! Friendly and informative. The office staff, not so nice. We were late not being from the area and not realizing that you do NOT move in Tahoe traffic! We allowed 1 hour to drive 30 miles and were still 10 min late. We called, told te lady that if we missed it, not their fault and oh well, but we were trying. She told we didn't leave early enough! they were just leaving when we arrived and the crew was kind enough to bring the boat back to dock and let us board but the office lady was awful! Made us literally walk a plank to get on board 3 times, with no handrail and over deep water. We were terrified. Had we fallen, there would have been a lawsuit. She also made a great show of having us run back and forth on the dock as she did not know where the boat would board us from. Embarrassing and humiliating and we were treated like children by her. We would have accepted the boat leaving without us knowing it was our fault for not knowing the area and traffic graciously, but don't do this to future customers! After we were on board though, as I said, the crew was great! I do wish it was really a sunset cruise though, the advertising is misleading. :(

Double Rainbow Kevin was an awesome Cabin boy. He refilled drinks with the quickness. All jokes aside Kevin and capt? ( sorry forgot captains name) were great and very professional. Would highly recommend to any age group.

Cruise was nice. Too bad they did not go to Emerald Bay

The Captain, Captain Aaron, and Skipper Kevin were two of the best people I could have imagined to be on the sail boat. They were extremely friendly, customer focused, and knowledgeable. They explained all bout sailing, the lake, and some historical facts. They appetizer plate was great, and the drink selection would make any alcoholic jealous. This is an unforgettable experience and I cannot wait to go back!!! Definitely worth the $60 a ticket!

The skipper drank beer during the sail and let the customers sail the boat about 40% of the time. 10 of the required 16 life jackets were stowed below and were not readily accessible if needed in an emergency. No one was required to wear any flotation device. Not safe.
