Sunset cruise sans Sunset

| The evening sailing expedition is described as a sunset cruise on Lake Tahoe. Sunset in the summer happens around 8PM. The cruise started at 5:30PM and was done before 8PM. We expected to be on the water when the sky and the reflection on the water would be filled with sunset colors. Instead, we were back in the car, on our way to dinner. The whole point of doing the cruise was to be on the lake during sunset. We felt very disappointed by this fact. | ||||||

| We had a very enjoyable time. The sailing was a great experience and the views were great. Staff was hospitable, laid back and efficient. Great selection of drinks and appetizers. Would highly recommend and do again! | ||||||

| Had a great time. Recommend sitting where you can hang on. Captian was very knowledgable about sites, area and lake information. Earlier sail time is milder ride not as much sailing. Was fun and exciting. | ||||||

| What a beautiful sailboat - cutting through the water on the lake and sails billowing in the breeze. Captain Mike was fabulous, very friendly and calm. The wine poured freely, the breeze was warm and I felt like I'd died and gone to heaven. If you're in the area, you won't want to miss this fabulous time! | ||||||

| The trip fulfulled my expectations and then some. The boat was in good condition, Capt. Jim was very friendly and told us a lot about sailing and Tahoe. The wine and snacks were wonderful. We plan to do it again next time we are in the Tahoe area. | ||||||

| Beutiful day, beutiful sail boat. great service. We all had a good time.Well worth it. Captin Mike could of talked it up a bit. Just some basic lake information, like. Lake name,size, miles of shore line, depth, elavation, and may be a little history.Point out some mountain peak names and land marks. We were form California and already knew most that stuff. But we met a couple from Arkansas it was there first time to Lake Tahoe and they were asking us questions. Happy Sailing, Wild Bill.. | ||||||

| This cruise was surely one of the highlights of my family's summer vacation. We lost our car keys and were running late for the boat by a couple of minutes, but they called and asked us where we were and actually the captain held the boat a few minutes for us, and we made it. The cruise was peaceful and relaxing. We have two two boys ages 10 and 8, and a little girl that is 6 years old, and they all thought the cruise was great. Don't know if we were just lucky in taking a cruise that had some great people on it, but that is what will make the cruise enjoyable. The only down side is it is a little tight if the boat is at full capacity, but the layout makes people interact with each other. I highly recommend taking the Sunset cruise. | ||||||

| My husband and I are Tahoe locals. We have a ski boat, but not a sail boat. Our child was away at camp and we took the opportunity to have some grown-up fun. The weather was wonderful, the capatin and crew made us very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend, but not to families with small kids. When the boat gets going you really have to hang on! | ||||||

| Everyone in our group really enjoyed our afternoon of sailing. The captain and his first mate were great. The lake is beautiful and this was a really fun way to get out on the water and see some of it. | ||||||

| The Boat is great, the secenery is amazing and Captain Jim and FIrst Mate Greg did a great job explaining what was going on and providing details of where we were on the lake. We did the noon cruise and lucked out with the winds, thus having a great sail. There were only 14 people on our sail (8 of which were our group). I beleive capacitly is 25 people, which would have been really crowded and uncomfortable. My suggestion - if you can be nimble call the day of and see how full the boat is before you commit. | ||||||

| The skipper and his first mate were terrific for this two hour sailing cruise on Lake Tahoe. Friendly, cheerful, and thoroughly knowledgable about sailing the lake. Only complaint: lack of communication between ticket seller and the sailing crew. I bought tickets for a 12:00 noon sail ; but there was no cruise scheduled for that time of day. I was rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. All worked out OK in the end, but the ticket seller and skipper really need to SPEAK to each other about these things. Otherwise, a great time. Highly recommended excursion. | ||||||
