| Three of us middle-aged women had never ridden on a Segway before. The tour operators gave us a thorough "how-to" session prior to the tour, and were very accommodating of us and another tour member when we arrived a bit late due to the "Bikefest" in downtown Raleigh.
The tour itself was a fun way to see some of Raleigh's historic sites and the new developments in the downtown area. We had no trouble hearing the tour leader's commentary along the way using the provided head sets. Everything went smoothly.
It was a fun way to take an informative tour of Raleigh. |

| I had trouble initially steering the Segway but then got going without problem. I really enjoyed the whole experience. It was great to hear the highlights of the area around the City Market and Saturday is a good time to go because the pedestrian traffic is light. The guide was very good and we learned quite a lot about the buildings we were passing, etc. It gets a little tiring after a while but if one can relax it helps and we took a short break which was nice. |

| My wife and I took this tour with a friend who came into town a few weeks ago. We had never ridden a Segway so it seemed like it would at least be a novel experience. There's no doubt about it, the Segway itself is a ton of fun. However, the friendly and knowledgeable guides are what made the tour such a great time. A few weeks later, my parents were visiting and I didn't think twice about taking them on the same tour.
What a fun way to see the city. You get to cover more ground than if it was a walking tour, and it's a much more personal tour than if we were all just riding in a bus. |

| This tour definitely provided a different way of viewing the city. Our tour guide Bruce was knowledgeable and made the segway experience quite fun. It was great to explore the history behind the layout of dowtown Raleigh and about all of the major rennovations taking place. I would highly recommend the tour. |

| Learning to ride a Segway in standing position and then actually riding it on the streets of your downtown while hearing the history of the buildings and places you pass is trememdous fun. The leader is very knowledgeable, and each person on the tour can hear the leader through an audio hookup that allows you to get every word as you travel along noisy sidewalks and cross busy streets. Before you begin the tour, the personnel at the office/store make sure you get comfortable riding the Segway before they allow you out the door. It takes about fifteen minutes to get the hang of it, and then you feel that you and the Segway are one, that the Segway is an extension of your body. Once out the door, you are led to a parking lot where you get even more practice. Then you are ready for the real thing. Even though you travel on city sidewalks and cross downtown streets, you are very well looked after. Not only is there the leader at the front, but there is also a second Segway company person at the rear keeping his or her eye on you as you navigate across streets and maneuver through and around tight and bumpy places, making sure that you are safe and sound. This attention to security frees you enjoy the ride even more. You can pay closer attention to the interesting and humorous comments the leader is sharing, and you can spend the time necessary to observe and appreciate the city's historical landmarks, interesting layout, and unique architecture. All the while gliding along or pausing on a two-wheeler in perfect balance. |

| We had a great time with the TriSegway crew. They provided a very professional introduction to the Segway's and had us comfortably trained before venturing out on the tour. Once on the tour, our guide did a great job of explaining the history surrounding various parts of Raleigh.
Excellent in all respects! |

| The Segway Experience is the best activity I've ever done and is wonderfully administered by a knowledgeable and caring staff of people that really love their work and are enthusiastic about informing the public about the wonderful machine known as the Segway.
I first rode with them last September, and met Todd and his wife Sandy. They were very nice and welcomed me in as though I was a friend. They quickly showed me and the group how to ride and I loved it. I just recently returned August 16th 2009 and brought my 16 year-old son with me. He LOVED it also!! Onaco and Bruce were equally knowledgeable and enthusiastic as Todd and Sandy and had everyone going in no time.
I highly recommend this activity to anyone - - - you will love it!
