| Learning to ride a Segway in standing position and then actually riding it on the streets of your downtown while hearing the history of the buildings and places you pass is trememdous fun. The leader is very knowledgeable, and each person on the tour can hear the leader through an audio hookup that allows you to get every word as you travel along noisy sidewalks and cross busy streets. Before you begin the tour, the personnel at the office/store make sure you get comfortable riding the Segway before they allow you out the door. It takes about fifteen minutes to get the hang of it, and then you feel that you and the Segway are one, that the Segway is an extension of your body. Once out the door, you are led to a parking lot where you get even more practice. Then you are ready for the real thing. Even though you travel on city sidewalks and cross downtown streets, you are very well looked after. Not only is there the leader at the front, but there is also a second Segway company person at the rear keeping his or her eye on you as you navigate across streets and maneuver through and around tight and bumpy places, making sure that you are safe and sound. This attention to security frees you enjoy the ride even more. You can pay closer attention to the interesting and humorous comments the leader is sharing, and you can spend the time necessary to observe and appreciate the city's historical landmarks, interesting layout, and unique architecture. All the while gliding along or pausing on a two-wheeler in perfect balance. |

| From the moment I talked to the Zerve person who handled my reservation/payment to the end of the tour itself, I was treated with friendly consideration. My group consisted of my husband and myself, my husband's brother and adult nephew from outside Seattle in Washington State. My husband's brother had been here twice before, each time with one of his other adult children. We took them to places like the Tobacco Museum since they were not familiar with North Carolina. In trying to find something different this time but still about historical North Carolina, I found this unusual tour online. None of us had ever been on a Segway but I had seen one on Mythbusters and wanted to try it so this was a golden opportunity. It was Sunday so traffic was very light and we were able to park right in front of the store. We had the quick Segway training and then went on the tour. There were probably 15-20 in the group. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and presented it in an interesting and humorous manner. We were accompanied by two other guides who helped us in crossing streets. One took pictures for us of the four of us on the Segways to send to our friends and family. The 45 minute tour was just right for the first time on a Segway. The weather was beautiful. We all had a great time and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you! |

| The staff was very helpful, gave us lessons and time to practice.
Very safe and fun. Lots of beautiful historical buildings and interesting info.
headsets included, so no problem hearing.
I am 81 years old and thought it was really fun. My wife wasn't so comfortable, and decided not to participate. |

| My wife and I decided to travel from Greenville to Raleigh on my 74th birthday to take a morning Segway tour.
It was great fun and exceeded our expectations.
Todd and his staff do a first-class job of preparing the participants. When we emerged from his shop, we were ready to roll.
Bruce provided an informative and enthusiastic narrative as we toured the capital.
The whole experience was positive and upbeat. Even a bottle of water was packaged on the basket of the scooter for our comfort. And a poncho was included in case of rain.
Recommend to anyone who enjoys a new and stimulating adventure.

| I had trouble initially steering the Segway but then got going without problem. I really enjoyed the whole experience. It was great to hear the highlights of the area around the City Market and Saturday is a good time to go because the pedestrian traffic is light. The guide was very good and we learned quite a lot about the buildings we were passing, etc. It gets a little tiring after a while but if one can relax it helps and we took a short break which was nice. |

| No where can you combine several activities into one, except on this tour. You can gain the histroy of the town, see how the town is changing, past present and where it is going in the future, but best of all you can do all this on the most exicting ride of your life. The sagway is like no other transportation you will ever experence. The smoothness of the ride, the ability to move around objects and over different pavements. This is one ride you willl remember and talk about for a long time. We are both up in years and it is fun for both young and old. We plan on going back again and again, just for the ride.
As a side note, I have never been around a tour guide who knew about the town then our guide did. He also did it at a pace that let you enjoy your time. |

| I've always wanted to take a Segway tour and never had the opportunity in my home city. A quick visit to Raleigh provided that opportunity. The staff was attentive in providing instruction to ease fears and teach us how to glide through the streets safely. Our tour guide did a great job of highlighting the sights, detailing the history and adding some humor. I'm ready to go again!! |

| Well organized, well equipped, well trained. We had a great time and learned a lot about Raleigh history. The Segway felt easy and we all felt competent after a few minutes. The guides did a great job, kept a close eye on us and insured us a good time. |
