Wonderful Sunday Afternoon!

We were amazed at how easy it was to learn how to ride a Segway and how quickly we forgot we were on one. The tour guide was great and we loved the fact that with the ear peices you never missed a word no matter how far back we found ourselves. However because of this we could not ask questions like you can on a traditional tour. We thought it was a little on the pricey side but we thoroughly enjoyed it and we're itching to go again soon!

Incredible Experience!

My wife and I had an old friend in town for the weekend. In an attempt to try "something different", we all thought a Segway tour might be fun. It turned out to be amazing, far exceeding all of our expectations. Not only was the Segway ride a total blast, but downtown Raleigh turned out to be a surprisingly impressive setting (especially Oakwood Cemetery). The folks from Triangle Segway were all wonderful; they were extremely friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about Raleigh, and just completely entertaining. I just can't say enough positive about this -- we're already looking forward to another tour.

We did the short tour a few months ago, loved the longer Oakwood trip and look forward to Raleigh West this fall. Ben was a good storyteller. Good quality equipment. Would love to own one if I get a job in the downtown area and could ride it to work.

My husband and I both LOVED the Segway tour! It only took a few minutes to feel confident on the Segway. Both owners joined us for our tour of Raleigh. Todd, our guide, was very knowledgable and we learned a lot of interesting facts about Raleigh. Both Todd and Sandy were also very kind and helpful throughout the 2 hours. We were also fortunate to have beautiful weather and low traffic due to the holiday. We have already recommended the tour to several friends. My children are also anxious to try it!

FUN, FUN, FUN and SAFE! This tour was great. It covers many points of interest including the cemetery, my favorite. Looking for more Segway City Tours.

This year, my husband and I decided to spend our anniversary week discovering our own backyard. We chose the 2.5 hour tour and we are so happy we did. It is way too much fun to stop at 45 minutes. The Segways are very easy to operate. Anyone can do it after a short in-shop lesson and a little practice in a near by courtyard. You are provided with water and a rain poncho. There is still room in the front pouch for a small camera. You will need sunglasses, sunscreen and very comfortable shoes. Standing on one place for 2.5 hours is surprisingly fatiguing on the feet and legs. Don't worry though, you will master the "Segway Shuffle" and the tour does stop at nice shady spot for a break. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about downtown and all things historical. If I am being completely honest, I would have to admit, the tour was just an excuse for us to ride Segways. However, our tour guides obvious love for history, interesting stories and appreciation for architecture became contagious. We took a Segway tour of Epcot on our last trip to Disney World. We were impressed at how fast this tour allows you to go on the Segway. We will definitely do this tour again with friends and family when they come to visit.

Meet the Parents

My parents came to visit me in Raleigh, NC from Warwick, RI and they were going to meet my boyfriend for the first time, so we decided that an "adventure" was the best way to break the ice. We laughed, we learned about Raleigh and it was a very easy environment for them to first meet at! I highly recommend it!

Great Sunday morning activity

A quiet Sunday morning is a great time for Segwaying around downtown Raleigh. Our tour guide provided a very safe environment for maneuvering around the neighborhoods and he was very informative. My family has been living in Raleigh for three years and we learned so much about the history of the city and those who lived here. It took me ten minutes to feel comfortable on the Segway and the guide provides enough opportunities to move around before getting into the tour. We had such a good time and learned so much we will look for other Segway tours in other cities we visit. My teenage son thought it was enjoyable and "really fun, I'm glad we went." It can be difficult to find engaging activities for families with teenagers - this is a good one! After the tour we enjoyed a nice lunch in the area. We highly recommend this activity.

We were two couples, one retired, the other still working. One couple relatively new to the city, the other from out of town. We were thrilled with the Segue experience and learned a bit about Raleigh at the same time. None of us had ever been on a Segue before and we all came away wanting to buy one. It's great fun and very easy to learn.

The tour was well organized and very informative. The best part was you learned history while having fun cruising the streets of Raleigh on a Segway. Have already recommended to several friends.

My husband and I had previously done a Segway tour so we had a little experience, but none is really necessary. We had adequate training, and the guided tour was fabulous. We enjoyed hearing all about Raleigh and particularly enjoyed the tour of Oakbrook and the cemetary. Would recommend this to all ages.
