| I know that our entire group enjoyed the tour, and our guide was very friendly and I would recommend it to others. The problem I had with it was not enough on the history of Tucson, and too much on contemporary things of downtown and 4th Ave. We would have like to have heard more about the Presidio, maybe some more historical facts about Tucson's origin, and original settlers, and some information about more wild west days, and life in the Barrio. |

| This was a great way to see some of the historic sites located in the area. Unfortunantly, one site was closed that should have been open - but, the guide was great and we enjoyed an unusual way to see Tucson during a hot month (July) when walking would not have been that much fun. I would highly recommend the ride as an unusual and unique experience to add to your vacation iteniary in Tucson. |

| Touring the Historic Presidio Trail on a Segway was a thrilling experience! Our group was the envy of the fellow pedestrians we encountered (and even some motorized traffic). We have no fear of riding a Segway since this was our second tour and highly recommend everyone to experience these tours. Try it you will like it! |

| This was a truly awesome experience. Learning to ride a segway was a thrill in itself, but we also got to see some historic parts of Tucson that, as residents, we had heard about but never had the opportunity to see. The advice to wear sunscreen was indeed a skin saver because even though we toured in the morning, the AZ sun can be a scorcher. The tour guides were very mindful of safety first, which was reassuring to beginning riders, but they also allowed the more adventurous to test their skills. This is definitely a "must repeat" tour! |

| It was definitely worth it to experience a Segway -- the tour itself is not anythinig special, but from a Segway it was fun. |

| Taking a segway on a tour is as close to riding a majic carpet. The owners are very knowledgable and go out of thier way. |

| I've always wanted to try a Segway and when I found out that Tucson had a company that gave tours, I jumped at the chance. I don't regret it one bit! I had as much fun as I've had in years taking The Presidio tour. It took about 5 minutes of practice and then I felt very comfortable on the Segway. I want to do it again-in fact, I'm willing to be a free volunteer any time Scott or Stu need me. I could probably arrange for my next vacation to be in Tucson. When ever I go on vacation, one of the first things will be to look for a Segway tour. Great time. Great hosts. Incredible machine!

| We have done Segway tours in the past (just recently in Kansas City) and were excited to find a Segway tour in Tucson. We scheduled online, and all that went well. We showed up early (weren't sure what traffic would be like) and found we were the only ones on this particular tour. Since we had recently been on Segways, the tour guide bumped us up to a higher speed, which was actually easier for me than the slower one. We did the Presidio Tour and found the guide to be very informative and very nice. We covered ground faster than larger groups with inexperienced riders, so he gratiously took us to a site we were interested in that was not on the tour.
Tucson is an interesting city with some great history. The Segway is a great way to see it! Even on a hot day (the temps were supposed to get up to 100 that day), we were quite comfortable.
Two things that were great about this tour the others we have been on didn't have or do? 1) They use a communication system with ear phones. That made it possible to communicate while we were moving and without the guide having to yell. 2) He would stop to let us move around, when we needed. It can be difficult to stand for that long, so these offers were a welcome stop along the way!
We truly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it! |

| We are adventurous type of people and like to try differrent things (we also did indoor skydiving this week). Visiting family in Tucson this was a great outing for all of us.
The machines are fascinating. You can learn to ride in 10 minutes, and are a blast to drive. As a beginner, they had the segways limited to 5.5 mph, but after 45 minutes on board, your ready for more speed. Riding around downtown, 5.5 was just fine. It was Memorial Day, so the streets were empty, A BIG PLUS. Plan YOUR trip when you might run into the same situation.
The tour was fun, and the wireless radios are a great idea to be able to talk to everyone. The information could have been a bit more detailed about the city, but balancing that with you having fun on the segway is a tough scale to balance. The only thing I would have liked, is for them to give us some time to really have some fun on the machine and just buzz around.
We travel ALOT, and I will be checking the segway site for all the cities they are in and will definetly ride them again. A great way to have some fun AND see the city your visiting. Plus you can cover alot more ground than walking. We wouldn't have been able to cover as much ground if we would have walked in the hot sun in Tucson. These would be PERFECT for the hills of San Francisco or Seattle, believe me, we walked those cities.
The price was a little more than I would have liked, but I understand they have overhead. I paid for 5 people. Tickets + tax + fees = $361 for just 2 hrs. That could be kinda steep for just a family of four on vacation. That is the only thing that took away from a perfect 5 Star Rating.
In a nut shell; 1) A little lower price would have us riding more often, even taking a different tour in the same city. 2) Give us a little fun time. And maybe for those who feel comfortable on the segway, the oppurtunity to remove the 5.5 mph limit.
Thanks for a great experience. |
