This is the best tour I've taken. The hearing devices provided were of the highest quality and allowed us to hear and understand every word spoken by our guide. It was such a pleasure to be on a tour with a native English speaking guide who was very knowledgeable. I loved this tour and my two young adult daughters enjoyed it too. |

Our tour guide was articulate and we could hear every word. Her enthusiasm made the tour that much more fun. I recommend it to everyone. I would do it again. |

The tour of Wall Street was very interesting. Our guide, Steve, was knowledgeable and very entertaining. I learned quite a bit on the tour. The guide provided radios so even in a big group you can hear all that is being said. I would recommend this tour if you're in the area. |

we were glad we took this tour, otherwise we would have walked around looking blankly at buildings. The radio receivers were fantastic - it meant we could move from place to place without having to keep side by side with the guide, straining to hear her over all the other noise. The guide seemed to have a real passion for the area, and told of lots of things we had not got from guide books and pamphlets etc. |

If you're looking to have an insight of the history of Wall Street, it is definitely a good tour to join. The short tour gives you good information on significant buildings/structures. The tour guide is friendly and knows his stuff well. Also, it is great that a radio was given to all members of the tour group to ensure everyone gets clear reception of what the tour guide is saying. |

This was a great way to see the Wall Street area. Our guide knew many interesting stories as well as the actual facts of the places we passed. She allowed plenty of time to see each spot, but kept us moving at a good pace so we finished on time. |

Steve our tour guide very knowledgeable about Wall Street. Drawbacks were the weather..it was cold and snowing..and we would have exchanged our tickets for another day but there were no exchanges. Also, the radios did not always work. not sure if there was a short in them or if when Steve got too far away from us we couldn't hear him. The group was too large..need to make smaller tour groups in order to keep within hearing distance of guide. With that being said it is still a good way to get information about Wall Street. |

I can't say enough good things about Annaline, Benny, and Ned, who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed both before and at the time of the Wall Street tour ... all of you were terrific! As a native speaker, I
loved the historic anecdotes Ned shared with the group. Ned was a personable, funny, entertaining, and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE tour leader. I say all of this as a native speaker; our group, however, consisted of ESL students who, unfortunately, found the talking speed "too fast" and the vocabulary a bit over their heads. So in summary, if I ever have the opportunity to have a class of native speakers, your walking tours will DEFINITELY be a part of our class outings; for my future ESL classes, however, I think I'll have to pass up the tours, unless, of course, my students are at an advanced level, which this group was not. But once again, thank you for your kindness and courtesy.
Sincerely,
Russ Schneider |

The history and tour of Wall Street was great. Our guide, Ned, was very knowledgeable and fun. All group tours should offer receivers and ear buds as we had. This made it possible to hear the guide most of the time without straining or having to try to stay right by his side. Too many people in the group made it difficult to stay within the range of the receivers on the narrow sidewalks of Wall Street. Also the wind and the turning of the guides head also caused some interference. Solve these problems that are controllable and it would receive an "Enthusiastically Recommended" rating. I have already recommended this to colleagues who also take students to NYC. And I will use them again next year. Kudos to Anna for a well-planned and well-delivered service. |

Guide's microphone didn't work

we couldn't hear 2/3rds of the tour because the guide's microphone didn't work. She said "sorry" several times but didn't try to speak any louder to compensate. iIt was clear that an offer of refund was not going to be discussed. Not hearing the tour pretty much undercuts the purpose of the tour. |

The antics and annecdotes of our guide were great and gave the tour a very lively feel. His first-hand experience was great value! Lots of information to take in but he was clearly very knowledgable! |

okay to walk with a group around downtown

this tour is probably great for people who just want to walk left and right, covering the whole downtown area, with a few historic details, but i missed the many anecdotes of real historic new yorkers, like bartleby the scrivener, the historic dutch locations, the tour information was a bit shallow, for more advanced new yorkers perhaps. |
