Very knowledgeable and personable

My family and I had a private tour due to us being the only ones who booked for the time. Our guide was incredibly engaging and was a wealth of knowledge about all the history of the area and financial systems. She made it very easy to understand for some not very finance knowledgeable people like me and my family. She was great and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about the finanical district and the history behind it.

Loved The Tour!

My group of 4 was fortunate enough to have our tour guide all to ourselves. She was great! A well-spring of knowledge about New York and Wall Street history. The pace of the walk was comfortable and relaxed with ample time for pictures and questions. We all enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely recommend to others as well as check back myself for her upcoming Christmas Holiday Tours. Thanks for a great tour!

Our tour leader was very nice and knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting historical facts and "insider" perspectives. Had a lot of fun.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, able to answer questions and friendly. Our group numbered 8 of which our family comprised 4. My son (aged 16) was not so interested in the topic (this had been anticipated ) but he tuned in and out and rated it "OK" . The history was fascinating from the early days right upto the change in bank locations after 9/11. Wall street not so impressive as City of London but this tour was good value for money and more thought provoking than most of the activities we endulged in on our trip.

Time well spent on Wall Street

This tour was made so interesting by our tour guide who had such knowledge and delivered it with such enthusiasm. My son who is 17 years of age and interested in maths and commerce generally loved it - maybe one day when he finds himself working there he might recall his first visit to The Street?

I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in New York history or finance. So much of the history discussed has parallels to today's world, which made it even more interesting. The tour guide was great - she obviously loves what she is doing and was a wealth of information. I brought my parents along and they declared the tour to be one of the highlights of their visit.

Not the best tour, but not the worst either. The tour would be much cooler if you could actually go into the NYSE!

We had a really good guide who was very knowledgeable about Wall Street -- she had previously worked for many years at Morgan Stanley in NYC and had some good insights and stories to tell. I would have never found some of the buildings on my own or even have known where to look without the tour. There was a good bit of history in her talk, which I enjoyed and we got a lot of walking in which was good.

Great activity for tourists or locals!

My friends from out of town and I really enjoyed the Stock Market history tour. I rarely walk around that part of town and had no idea (prior to the tour) what the names of some of the buildings were or what had happened there. The history and anecdotes were enjoyable for a local and out of town guests. I plan on checking out another tour by the same guide (Annaline) when I have relatives visiting over the next holiday.

Best tour on our trip!

I booked this tour because my boyfriend is in the finance and investment industry, and I thought it would be an interesting little tour to end our trip to NYC. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the Wall Street History walking tour was by far the most interesting tour we took while we were visiting! Not being in the finance industry myself, I thought I may be a little bored while my boyfriend would be the only one interested, but that was far from true. We both loved the tour; tons of enthusiasm and knowledge from our tour guide. I highly recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting NYC! Awesome.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and a good speaker. Would be interested in doing other tours with her. The weather was a bit snappy, but bearable. We enjoyed it immensely. Even our daughter, who is thirteen, was interested.

Interesting Tour

Anneline, who started this tour company from scratch, was very friendly & very enthusiastic about the subject matter. Interesting history of Wall Street & the formation of the Stock Exchange. Juicy tidbits about what happened to Aaron Burr after he dropped Alexander Hamilton. We got the feeling she could've gone on for hours, and we would've been interested to hear more, but you can only cover so much info in one day. Even though it was very cold & windy February weather, she had us move from place to place quickly, ducking into patches of sunlight & other warm pockets of space as we went, so we weren't suffering from the weather. Recommend brunch at Financier bakery/cafe beforehand or plan on stopping for lunch afterward at one of several places on Stone Street, an atmospheric lane that Anneline points out along the tour.
