Description

The "Get Local' series of weekly walking tours focus on D.C. neighborhoods and historic sites.  Each Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., a different part of the city is explored. Some of the neighborhoods we will be exploring during the series include:
  • Capitol Hill, one of the largest historic districts in America and home to the bustling Eastern Market
  •  Logan Circle, where Victorian residential architecture meets hip home furnishing boutiques and vibrant restaurant scene
  • Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, a National Park site that is one of the hidden gems in the District of Columbia
  • Brookland, sometimes referred to as "Little Rome" due to the presence of Catholic University of America and the beautiful Franciscan Monestary
All walks begin at 11:00 a.m., last two hours, and are $15 per person unless otherwise noted. They take place rain or shine and children ages 3 and younger are free.
