Frank was our guide and he was so informative, energetic and enthusiastic about Chinatown that even bad weather couldn't dampen the tour. What fun and great food! He even ordered a special dim sum when my husband said it was his favorite. We rated this tour as the best of the tours we took that week. |

Our guide was sweet and it was fun to hear about her childhood. I do not think that we needed to read all the plaques and discuss as much history. We wanted to know about living in China town more.
Ther herb shop was great!! |

My husband and I learned so much on this tour!! We had been to China Town a few times but did not know half of what we learned!! I liked hearing it from someone who had lived there and experienced it!! |

We were 4 women from Southern California. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Lola. She was VERY knowledgeable about China Town since she was raised there. She gave us an overall picture of old China Town, we visited all kinds of shops, had opportunities to shop & she answered questions of politics and life styles. The entire group did not enjoy the food at 3 Seas Restaurant. It was very greasy and some was over cooked. We did like the idea of a variety of things (not just Dim Sum), however, it all tasted the same. We have all had better Chinese food in China Town.
Overall, take the tour, but don't have the lunch. |

We spent a rewarding three hours on the Wok Wiz Daily tour with our guide Lola. She helped us to understand not only the cuisine of the neighborhood but also the history and culture that make this district so special. From the vegetable markets to the Mat Su Temple, we understood so much more than if we had taken a self-guided walk through San Francisco's Chinatown. We thank Lola for graciously sharing her Chinatown with us. |

Dorothy Quock was a wonderful guide, giving me and my husband what, to me, were little known details of Chinatown's history - things that don't make it into the history books! She also made Chinatown a destination for another visit as I have places to visit again (herb store, tea shop, squares and Four Seas!). I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends heading to SF. Thanks so much! |

Ne ho! We had a thoroughly enjoyable time with Dorothy as our guide; a sweet woman whose knowledge of the area made the walk very worthwile, always keeping our interests up, and maintaining a personal contact with each member of the tour group. Highly recommended. Great food at the end! |

We never would have gotten as much out of a visit to Chinatown without Herman and our Wok Wiz tour. We saw so many things that we likely would have walked right by, learned so very much and to end the tour with the delicious, filing lunch was great. An excellent way to be introduced to Chinatown in a morning. |

We all enjoyed the tour. Especially impressed with the lunch at the Far East Restaurant.
The only dissapointment was that our guide skipped the Fortune Cookie Factory. There were 4 small children in the group who were not too interested in the history of Chinatown, and I'm sure the Cookie Factory would have been the highlight for them.

Dorothy was our tour leader on 6/29. She's very friendly and informative, and gave us a great insight on the history and culture of Chinatown. The lunch afterwards was delicious and gave us more time to discuss the things we saw and learned on the tour. I particularly enjoyed hearing from Dorothy what it was like to be born and live in Chinatown, and the changes she's seen throughout her life. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco. |
