| This tour makes Chinatown less intimidating, even for locals! Very knowledgable tour guides. Highlight was the education on teas during the tea tasting and the excellent lunch. Well worth the money. |

| Chuck, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken. He was enthusiastic about his subject and passed on his excitement about San Francisco and Chinatown to us.
The food at the restaurant where the tour ended was very good. And the tea tasting was educational and delicious. I strongly recommend this tour. |

| I had been on this tour two years ago and wanted to share the experience with my sister who was visiting the San Francisco area for the first time. I live in Monterey county and it was well worth the drive to see the real China town. The Red Bloosom Tea shop was an acceptional experience. The educational talk and tea sampling was marvelous. I would recommend this tour to all my friends and the lunch was again superb. I would take my friends and go a third time. |

| The tour guide was very enthusiastic and was good about sharing stories about his life growing up in Chinatown and the history of Chinatown. I liked that he took some extra time with the group too. We saw a wide range of places, but I expected to see the busy market of Chinatown ... where was the hustle and bustle? where was the street market with armadillos and other curiosities you read about? It felt like maybe the tourists were being shuffled around the edges of the heart of Chinatown to keep us out of the locals' way. Of course, everyone is free to explore Chinatown on their own before or after the tour; but for those travelers with limited time, it would have been great to include at least a brief walk through that area.
Again, the guide did a good job, but overall, I'd have to rate it a 3.5 out of 5, only because it did not quite go everywhere I hoped it would. |

| Excellent tour. Frank was a great leader who offered much personal insight and history regarding Chinatown. The tea shop was outstanding and we ended up going back to buy some tea after the tour.
I like the fact that we focused on a few things in depth instead of going in a hurry and superficially glossing over everything.
It would have been nice to have gone to Stockton Street however to hear some stories about it. |

| Excellent guide who described what it was like as Chinatown initially developed, and the conflicts with the government as they sought to stem immigration. Wandered around shops I wouldn't have gone in. Finished with an interesting meal - not the best cuisine but again things I wouldn't have experienced, with further information about Chinese culture as we ate. Strongly recommended. |

| This tour would be good for someone who doesn't have any ideas about Asian culture, food, etc. I thought the historical perspective was very interesting and informative. The dim sum was less than average. I have had far superior dim sum in Hawaii, Hong Kong, and New York. The dim sum would be okay for anyone not familiar with dim sum. |
