| Emily was a wonderful tour guide. Very sweet and very passionate about sharing her family's history in Chinatown. We enjoyed it. |

| We saw the tour on a local TV program earlier in the year. We were so glad we finally scheduled a time to go. Despite growing up in the area, we learned a lot of history with which we had been unfamiliar. We appreciated learning more about an area in which we find ourselves frequently as well as learning about stores and restaurants that we are sure to visit again in the future. |

| My family and I enjoyed the tour with Frank immensely! He was excellent: knowledgeable about Chinatown from personal experience. He grew up in SF Chinatown, so he had first-hand knowledge and personal attachment to the area. We also loved the food at the Dim Sum restaurant. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour that I first saw advertised on KRON 4 weekend news. |

| Highly recommended a great mix of history, anecdote and information. I learned things I never would have know if I'd just wandered about on my own. I also saw things I wouldn't have been able to access like the temple. I'm telling all my friends if they are ever in SF to go. |

| Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to show us all the nooks and crannies of the Chinatown area. The lunch was amazing and quite the value. I highly recommend this tour. |

| Perhaps because of potential rains, we had a very small group, which made the tour feel not like a crowd, but rather, a walk around Chinatown with a couple of friends. We never had to negotiate our way to the front of the group to hear what our guide was saying, nor did we have to wait for the end of the group to catch up as it was such an intimate group. This also gave us the ability to squeeze into some of the smaller shops and see exactly what was going on. And we never got a raindrop! |

| I enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area, and we went to quite a few areas. The highlight for me was the Red Blossom Tea Shop. I think that the tour should include one or two more stops like that.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Make the tour more active with a bit less lecturing and passive listening. As mentioned above, have one or two more stops where the shopkeeper gets involved - we went back to Red Blossom afterwards and made a couple of purchases, so shopkeepers would likely welcome the opportunity to do that kind of public relations.
2. Follow the itinerary. We did not go to the China Gate, even though it seemed like it should be on the itinerary.
3. The lunch was advertised as a dim sum, but instead of a lively dim sum restaurant with carts coming by(an authentic Chinatown experience), we went to a fairly plush westernized Chinese restaurant and were served a set meal. The lunch was fine, but it was not what was advertised and what I expected.
4. Notwithstanding the above comments, I enjoyed the tour and would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. With the above improvements, that could move to a 9 or 9.5 out of 10.
Thanks for the opportunity to provide comments!
Best regards,

| I really enjoyed the tour guide (Lola). I also really liked the variety of people on the tour. They were all very engaged and gave me lots of ideas of what else to do in San Francisco. The tea shop was probably the highlight. |

| I've lived in the Bay Area for many years and visit Chinatown occasionally. But I had never taken a guided tour. So that's what I asked for for my birthday.
I had a great time. Our WOK WIZ leader, Alberta, was friendly and knowledgeable. I saw places I might have passed by if I'd been on my own and I heard the back story on many iconic sites.
I've already recommended the tour to friends. |
