| The Wok Wiz Tour was great, it was definitely worth the price. It was our favorite part of our whole trip to San Francisco. Our tour guide Dorothy was great. She mixed in facts about Chinese culture, the history of Chinatown, civil rights, and put in her own personal touches, showing us the apartment where she was born and the restaurant where she had her wedding reception.
The lunch was great, there was more than enough food for everyone and it tasted great. I never would have tried some of the dishes we had on my own but I'm glad I did.
We highly reccomend this tour, we never would have known where to go or what to do on our own, and it definitely helped contributed to our understanding and appreciation of Chinatown and San Francisco. |

| We enjoyed having a guide who was born in San Francisco China Town and who was very well-informed and very articulate and personable. We felt like we saw parts of the area that a regular tourist would not see. |

| I had a lovely local guide who filled the tour with great stories. I can't wait to go back to SF and take another of their tours. |

| I highly recommend the Wok Wiz tour. It gives you the history of Chinatown in ways that you can't get in a tourist book. Plus, the tour takes you to interesting places that would be hard to find otherwise, and shows you the best places to shop, and a great place to eat. Well worth the price! |

| Chuck was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the history of China Town. I enjoyed the tea tasting especially. I would have enjoyed more stops like this one at the best shops but the places we visited were great. |

| I was very disappointed by how much time the guide wasted talking about stuff that had no particular connection to San Francisco's Chinatown. We did not get to visit a tea purveyor, or our own "farmers market" — produce markets, or learn about the beautiful and ornate architecture. We did not hear about the best place to shop for linens. The meal we had was at a restaurant that anyone could have just walked into without a guide and done just as well. The guide pointed out a place to go back to after the tour and have a chance to buy from six different kinds of candied ginger. I went back and they didn't even have one kind. All in all it was a complete waste of time. |

| I thought our host Chuck was very warm and friendly. I enjoyed listening to him speak. I liked when he told little snipets of his experience being Chinese. I love history so I enjoyed all of it. The restaurant you took us to was very clean, pretty and the food was delicious and fresh. Only a very small thing, there could have been more room at the table for the chairs to all fit. I enjoyed Alice at Red Blossom, I liked buying cookies at the Golden cookie. I liked the temple visit and the stops outside the meat and vegtable markets. I want to sneak in to Portsmouth Square and paint the building bright red and green the way it should be.
Thank you for the fun adventure. |

| We've been to many Chinatowns on our own but I wanted to have some entry into a deeper level of understanding by taking this tour. We really enjoyed meeting people in Chinatown and experiencing a more authentic visit to that culture. It was a wonderful tour run by an enthusiastic leader. |

| My husband and I did the tour out of curiosity. We were very impressed with the amount of knowledge our tour guide Dorothy had. She was interesting, funny, and full of little tid-bits that only someone that lived there would have known. She was born there, and told us a lot of history about what China Town used to be like. I found it very enlightening.
I highly recommend this tour, and try to get Dorothy!
