Bernice was a wonderful tour guide. She gave us lots of information about growing up in Chinatown, how people lived and much more. Especially liked the tea company, learned lots of good information about tea and found tea that I liked.
In someways two hours for the tour wasn't enough. Enjoyed the Dim Sum lunch.
My Sister-in-Law who grew up in Daily City enjoyed the tour as well!
Can't wait until the next time we are in town to visit Chinatown and maybe take the tour again! |

This tour was great! Our guide, Bernice, was very knowledgable, funny, friendly, and helpful. Without this tour, we would have wandered around Chinatown aimlessly, not seeing any of these hidden treasures! The tour included a Buddist temple, fortune cookie factory, herbalist, dry goods store, grocer, and tea shop. The tea shop was the best with brewing tips, tastings, and lots of interesting info. Our lunch was wonderful-many new and different dishes, unlike the chinese menu items you are used to. All the food was fresh and plentiful. We enjoyed this tour the best out of everything we did in San Francisco!!!!! |

I was expecting the tour to focus a little more about the history of the neighborhood and provide more facts/background about food or a tour through more of the markets, being that it is a Wok Wiz Tour. |

Had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour. Chuck was great...just the perfect mix of historical detail mixed with humour. Learned little facts and details that I would have NEVER learned on my own. Every stop was very interesting. I would highly recommend this tour and already have! Thank you. |

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the morning tour. My daughter was not sure why we needed a tour through China Town but was so glad we chose this tour. Loved all of the recommendations that were made on our tour-- from the tea tasting to our fabuolous dim sun lunch. Thank you so much for making a memorable tour. Kim and Allison |

The detailed tour of china town was excellent. I would possibly recommend that a map be provided to the participants so they can mark on the map shops and stores that they want to return too after the tour. Loved the tea house, loved the fish shops with the live fish, turtles and frogs. Lunch was good, however too many appetizers and not enough main dishes (there were Dumplings, egg rolls, shrimp rolls, pork rolls and only one chicken main dish). I would very much recommend this tour if you want to see areas of china town that you normally would not see. |

Very enjoyable. We would never have seen or learned so much if we went to Chinatown on our own. I wish we we were able to go into fortune cookie factory. It was too crowded. We wanted to buy a large bag of cookies. Going through the market was great. Very friendly tour guides. |

We were met by our guide with an enthusiastic smile. We found her to be interesting and knowledgeable in the history of China town in its rich culture.
This has been my second experience with the Wok Wiz Daily Tour and would recommend it to anyone locally that is entertaining guests from out-of-town, or, for themselves. Each tour guide provides his or her individual insight and experience, so no matter how many times you go, you learn something new. I would have no problem going again.
Thank you for a most enjoyable day! |

This tour was extremely enjoyable covering the current Chinatown, history, culture, traditions and more. The history of the Chinese immigrants along with the stops at the temple and the tea shop were so meaningful when explained by a true Chinatown native.

The tour was very informative and allowed us to see and experience Chinatown as we would not be able to on our own. Alberta, our tour guide, provided a lot of interesting facts and personal stories. Great tour. I would highly recommend it. It even held the interest of our 14 and 16 year girls. |
