| We really enjoyed our tour of Chinatown with Shirley Fong-Torres and would recommend it to everyone vacationing in San Francisco. From our visit to a Temple, to a teahouse, to an art gallery and in and around the area, we got an insiders view of Chinatown. It was a warm and informative guide that my family will always cherish. We also ate our way through the afternoon. This is a can't miss tour for all ages. Shirley Rocks! |

| We had a ball, I highly recommend this tour. If you're a history buff it's not like that. What it is, it is a wonderful introduction to Chinatown. Shirley is a kick and the group we had was fun. Go with a keen sense of fun and you'll be pleased. |

| My friend Darcy and I signed up for the tour on a whim. We had a fantastic time! Shirley is an awesome guide. It was more like spending time with a fun friend that taking an arranged tour. We're already planning on eating our way through Chinatown with Shirley on our next visit. |

| The guides are fantastic and have lived in the area with wonderful stories about their lives and the people they knew. The tour gives a great human and historical perspective of the area. The meal is a very good blend of dim sum and other authentic Chinese foods. My husband and I are "foodies" and loved the lunch. Do not decide to just do the tour without the food. You will have a great chance to learn even more about this fantastic area of San Francisco both food and culture. Do it all. I am a History teacher and I totally recommend this tour for anyone who desires to know about the food, history, and culture of Chinatown. Most of us are on a limited time budget. DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!!! The price is worth it. It is one of the true San Francisco bargains. |

| We enjoyed the walking tour of markets, temples, and all of Chinatown.Our guide gave us tips on places to visit after the tour, too, so we could make best use of our time in San Francisco. Lunch was delicious, we tasted things we had never tried before and portions were generous!
We especially enjoyed all the little stories about her culture that our guide shared with us, everything form wedding traditions to a few language lessons! |

| Shirley Fong-Torres presented this walking tour in a very personable, affable style. She imparted her culture and personal background as well as the general flavor of Chinatown in San Francisco. My travel partner and I thoroughly enjoyed every experience Shirley offered and were fascinated with pieces of history we had not known before. The lunch at a new Chinese restaurant was enjoyable and was all the more interesting because Shirley explained each dish. I will recommend this tour to all my friends and relatives. |

| What a fabulous tour! Shirley Fong-Torres is an absolute delight! By walking through Chinatown and visiting the square, an art shop for a calligraphy lesson, a beautiful Buddist Temple with information on Buddism, a lovely tea shop to learn about tea and proper brewing plus tasting and finally an amazing dim sum lunch.....a perfect day in San Francisco! We went on several tours while on our vacation. Wok Wiz Tour was definitely our favorite. |

| Very much enjoyed the tour, and the staff was great. We were supposed to go on a Saturday right after arriving in San Fran, but flight delays made us miss it, but Shirley Fong-Torres called us personally and allowed us to come on the following Monday, even though it was supposedly non-refundable. The tour itself was extremely informative, learned a tremendous amount about the history of Chinatown and some of the important people in its development. There isn't really any time to shop during the tour so plan on that for afterward, and lunch got started a little late so we had to literally eat and run. That said, I highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in San Fran's Chinatown, and Shirley and her staff were great to us. They did a lot ot accomodate my vegetarian wife, but if you have any dietary issues let them know in advance, the restaurant isn't as understanding as Shirley was... |
