| We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and were pleased to have Shirley in the flesh as our guide! We would never have gone down all those alleys on our own! It was fun and a real adventure. In one shop two older Chinese ladies pressured me till I purchased some dried red little things and I don't even know what they are!
The food was great, too, although not the dim sum restuarant I expected. I expected the waitresses serving from carts as I read they do in the authentic restaurants - the food was great just a bit more ordinary than I expected - no octopus or squid!
A fun morning - I'd do it again! |

| I went with my husband and 6 yr old son and 8 month old son. The walking tour was great with lots of interesting history. I brought a stroller + baby bjorn carrier and diaper bag with milk. The walking was fine for both of my kids. I do not think we 'slowed' the group down a bit (mine were the only kids). The terrain was for the most part stroller friendly although at times we lifted it up some steps. Recommend a lightweight stroller if you bring one. When the baby woke up from his nap, I strapped him to me in the baby bjorn, and gave him a bottle. Highly recommend the tour part. We ended at a Dim Sum restaurant. I thought the food was greasy and not the best tasting, but then I'm used to eating only great food in San Francisco! |

| Having been born in Chinatown, Dorothy added so much personal history that it provides perspective of life in Chinatown growing up 60-70 years ago. Well worth the money. |

| My friend and I had a fantastic time in San Francisco it is a truely wonderful city and the Wok Wiz tour just added to our enjoyment. The tour guide was very insightful and knowledgeable and make the tour enjoyable. The tour was over a couple of hours and felt like it passed by in minutes. Well worth it.

| When we arrived at the tour origination point, my wife, daughter and I were so surprised that Shirley knew our names. She said that she learns names ahead of time and recognized us as the only group of three. Hank, our tourguide, made us feel as though we were friends that he hadn't seen in a long time. His tour of Chinatown was knowledgable and enthusiastic. Walking by the open air markets and seeing all the women shopping for fresh vegetables and poultry for that night's dinner was a culture shock--no prepackaged foods. My wife's favorite stop was the tea shop where we got to sample white and green teas and bought some to take home. My favorite stop was the fortune cookie "factory." It's not really a factory--the cookies are folded by hand! The final stop was my daughter's favorite, a seven course Chinese luncheon. We joined up with Shirley's group and got to sit at a large table with other tourists from Germany and Russia. The food was outstanding and no one left the table hungry. The Wok Wiz Tour was the highlight of our week in San Francisco. |

| I loved the tour. My boyfriend and I had so much fun learning about the different culture and traditions of our guide Alberta. We loved just walking through the streets of Chinatown and did some more walking after lunch had concluded. The lunch was great as well. I tried some Chinese foods that I probably wouldn't not have tried on my own. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and would love to come back and do it again!! Thanks for the wonderful experience. |

| We especially enjoyed the personal stories relayed by our guide. I never would have entered a Buddhist temple on my own; I'm glad this was included in the tour, and I appreciated the explanation of the artifacts and the rites. Our delicious Dim Sum lunch was much more than we expected! |
