| Tour guides were extremely helful and freindly. Food was excellent. I would have liked if there was more information on the history of Chinatown rather than the food but it was an excellent tour all the same. Will definitely recommend others to go. | ||||||

| We had 16 people on the walking tour with 2 guides who were both wonderfull, it was Harvest Moon Festival time and chinatown was packed but we got arond fine.We really learned a lot of history and when it was over the dim-sum was exellent. A GREAT TOUR. | ||||||

| Hank was a knowledgeable, humorous guide who took us places we had never seen in Chinatown in the past. He provided interesting personal history as well as general history of the district. The food at The Four Seas was delicioius, and he continued there to explain the dishes and the condiments even why Chinese prefer drinking tea rather than water with their meals. We recommended the tour to others at our hotel, and an English couple signed up for the next day based on our descriptions. We have friends going to San Francisco in November, and I will definitely recommend that they take the tour as well. I asked the general manager of our hotel in advance of our trip for suggestions, and this was one of two tours he recommended. All in all, it was professionally planned and excecuted. I wouldn't hesitate to tell all my friends to do this. | ||||||

| Very much enjoyed my Wok Wiz tour. Tour guide was very well informed, and shared her own experiences along with facts and history of the area. Good pace, with stops at tea shop, temple, fortune cookie factory, and restaurant well coordinated. | ||||||

| I enjoyed this tour. It gave a great overview of Chinatown. I thought you really got to sample what Chinatown is all about. We got to taste a dragon's eyeball! Where else are you going to do that! We also got to see a few different things such as a herbalist, and a tea shop and meat and seafood market. I really liked hearing about Chinese history and lore. We visited an Taoist temple and the fortune cookie company. I loved walking the alleys and streets. This is a great tour especially for anyone who never been to Chinatown. I feel like I learned a lot about the culture. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! | ||||||

| This was a great tour. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Chinatown. We went to a temple, fortune cookie factory, herbalist and markets. I especially enjoyed the tea shop.. We learned how to brew tea and got a chance to taste some of the varieties. Later we went back to buy some to take home. Our guide had a lot of stories to tell us, since she grew up in the area. Highly recommend | ||||||

| The tour itself was fun. The leader was knowledable about the area, and was entertaining. It would have been nice to have a printout of the places that we visited so that we could find them again. It's hard if you don't live in Chinatown to refind these places from memory. Also, the food , we felt, was just fair.Granted it was more authentic than we're used to getting from our hometown, but it really didn't make us want to return for anymore dim sum. If they keep the same resturant, I would do the tour, but not do the lunch.Overall, worthwhile. Would do it again if some modifications were made. Thanks. | ||||||

| We had a WokWiz tour with Chuck Gee. He was funny, interesting and really knew the answer to all questions asked. We really enjoyed ChinaTown and its strong history and wonderful business people that allowed us to see their day to day business. The restaurant served a variety of foods for us to eat of excellent quality. I wish we could have had our own itinerary for later use. It would have been much easier to retrace our steps and return to some of the businesses for purchases. We were asked to share because of a short supply. That is the only negative. It was such a great tour we would love to go on another offered tour by this group. | ||||||

| This is the 2nd time taking the tour for 2 of us. We all enjoyed it very much and found Hank's descriptions and narrative very informative. As always, the tea shop and lunch were wonderful. Will recommend to anyone going to the west coast. | ||||||

| We made this trip to celebrate our first anniversary. Both of us had been to SF before, but never together and we wanted to do something different. Seeing Chinatown from the shops and back alleys was a wonderful experience. Shirley herself happened to be our guide and shared stories and insights from her upcoming book. An association was celebrating with dragon dancers and a funeral cortege passed by, but the tour was flexible so we could include these experiences. The dim sum luch was great and we enjoyed the company of everyone on the tour. Highly recommended. | ||||||
