A lot of fun and quite interesting

| I enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area, and we went to quite a few areas. The highlight for me was the Red Blossom Tea Shop. I think that the tour should include one or two more stops like that. A couple of suggestions: 1. Make the tour more active with a bit less lecturing and passive listening. As mentioned above, have one or two more stops where the shopkeeper gets involved - we went back to Red Blossom afterwards and made a couple of purchases, so shopkeepers would likely welcome the opportunity to do that kind of public relations. 2. Follow the itinerary. We did not go to the China Gate, even though it seemed like it should be on the itinerary. 3. The lunch was advertised as a dim sum, but instead of a lively dim sum restaurant with carts coming by(an authentic Chinatown experience), we went to a fairly plush westernized Chinese restaurant and were served a set meal. The lunch was fine, but it was not what was advertised and what I expected. 4. Notwithstanding the above comments, I enjoyed the tour and would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. | I really enjoyed the tour guide (Lola). I also really liked the variety of people on the tour. They were all very engaged and gave me lots of ideas of what else to do in San Francisco. The tea shop was probably the highlight. | ||||||

| I've lived in the Bay Area for many years and visit Chinatown occasionally. But I had never taken a guided tour. So that's what I asked for for my birthday. I had a great time. Our WOK WIZ leader, Alberta, was friendly and knowledgeable. I saw places I might have passed by if I'd been on my own and I heard the back story on many iconic sites. I've already recommended the tour to friends. | ||||||

| We were thoroughly pleased with the guide, the tour and the lunch. The guide had many personal anecdotes, answered all questions and offered suggestions for shopping and additional activities. Good value too. | ||||||

| This was a great walking tour of Chinatown, giving us a lot of insight into the area, the culture, and much more behind the scenes than if we wandered around on our own. I would highly recommend this, and after all of the walking - the dim sum afterwards was a nice break | ||||||

| Alberta was very informative and also LOTS of fun. We would have never been able to learn all that we did about the culture or gain all of the insight about the area without her. She was very informative and personable. She also gave excellent service and made everyone feel like she had lots of time to answer each of our questions. We never felt rushed or like we might have asked a silly question. The tour was my most enjoyable experience in San Francisco. | ||||||

| Alberta was our tour guide, and she was great! I loved her stories about her family and the Chinese traditions. She took us into different areas and explained the culture and our surroundings (i.e. temple, fish market, herb/medicinal shop). I'm not sure we would have seen so much on our own in the same amount of time, and we definitely would not have understood or felt comfortable asking questions. Even just hearing about the fresh produce, what it was and how it is prepared, to me was facinating. I really thought this tour was well worth it, and the lunch at the end was just the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this tour!! | ||||||

Our guide Lola was fantastic...how wonderful to experience the neighborhood and learn of the history and culture from one who lived there! This far exceeded my expectations and my friends loved it! | ||||||

| Lola Hom was a great tour leader. She shared her personal experiences of growing up in Chinatown, making it an authentic experience. I enjoyed seeing things I've never seen before, even though I've been going to Chinatown for 20 years. | ||||||
