| Lola is an excellent guide through Chinatown. We loved to hear her stories and insights. She showed us an old phone book and a booklet with which she learnt to write Chinese. Ross Alley is a real treasure with the fortune cookie factory and the barber playing an ancient instrument. It would have been great if we could have sampled some of the Golden Gate Bakery goodies, also more explanation on produce as we walked by stores would have been nice. Sampling in the tea store was a wonderful way of getting an intro into the tradition of tea preparation. Aside of the fact that it poured down on us for the first 2 hours, we fully enjoyed the walk tour through Chinatown and it opened our eyes for the traditions and history of Chinese people in San Francisco. We already recommended your tour to several of our friends. | ||||||

| Loved Alberta. Some parts of the tour went a little long, like the tea tasting. The pace could be a little more controlled to keep everyone's interest. Really appreciated the personal antidotes from the guide. Next time I might request a private tour. | ||||||

| we thought the first part (in the park) was too long and we were kept standing in one place for too long a time. The guide was excellent - full of insider knowledge. We enjoyed the specialist tea importer and bought a small tea mixing bowl, which survived the journey back to UK. we also enjoyed the lunch, and returned the next day to have lunch in another restaurant in which we were almost the only Occidentals. We would not have got so much enjoyment and information had we just wandered around on our own and not gone on the tour. we thoroughly recommend this tour. | ||||||

| My husband and I went on a Wok Wiz Daily Tour recently and, after spending three hours enjoying every minute, were pleased to come away with a greater understanding of Chinese culture in San Francisco and the history of Chinatown. Chuck, our guide, wove together facts and lore in an interesting, exciting manner as he introduced us to the sights, sounds, and culture of the area. Lunch was excellent, and we recommended the restaurant to others in our business group. We are glad that we took the tour. Next time we're in the city we'll try another Wok Wiz activity! | ||||||

| I took this tour in hopes that I could expose my 13 year old daughter to new customs and food while in San Francisco. Not only did she try everything that was served in the 7 course dim sum lunch, she liked it! And, listening to her tell friends about the tour was terrific! Tried a green tea, saw ducks, chickens and pigs hanging in a window, visited a fortune cookie shop (that was fun!) and exploring the Tsao temple. From start to finish, we both enjoyed the experience. She'll never forget it, and neither will I. | ||||||

| Tour guide was a big hit. Lots of personality and entertaining stories of growing up in Chinatown. Even made the vegetable stands interesting. Enjoyed the temple and fortune cookie factory very much. Food was a welcome sight at the end of tour. Food was plentiful, but mediocre. This would have been alright, but I I was very disappointed that the chicken dumpling dim sum was not cooked thoroughly when I cut into it, especially since my son had already devoured his. Our noodles were served cold, but were replaced promptly when this was pointed out. All in all a worthwhile experience, but do check to make sure everything is cooked thoroughly. | ||||||

| I thought that the tour overall was a awesome experince. My friend and I had a wonderful time and would reccomned this to anyone going into the city for the day or a couple of days. Alberta our leader was filled with great facts and not just about the city but also about her life and what it was like when she lived in chinatown. It was great. I give it five stars! | ||||||

| Our tour guide "Alberta" was born and raised in China Town which provided great insight into what it was like to grow up there and made the experience more compelling. | ||||||

| overall, it was an intersting tour. liked the detours into the small streets. if i had to make a suggestion, i might add that perhaps a little more time could be spent covering the history of chinatown. but then again, i'm sure there are others who want to know more about the good restaurants and not so much about the history so it all balances out. | ||||||

| My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed this tour. It combined historical information with current conditions and religion. The tour guide was very knowledeable and was able to incorporate personal history with the information of the tour. Perhaps you could work a scheduled visit to a herb shop into the tour. We were told that there were too many of us in the group to go into a herb shop without disrupting their business. We opted for the dim sum meal at the end of the tour and it was very good. Perhaps tour guide should alternate time between the two tables to give us background on the food served. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanted to tour Chinatown. | ||||||

| What a great experience! I've been to China Town three times on previous visits to SF and had no idea about the depth and history of the area that I learned about on the tour. The guide was knowledgable, friendly, and outgoing. I strongly recommend this tour for first time and repeat visitors alike. | ||||||

| Alberta was a fantastic guide. She made sure we all stayed together, could hear her and got all our questions or shopping needs met. We learned a lot about the area (since she grew up here) and she was always trying to share the interesting not just the touristy aspects of the area. Well worth the money. Lunch was delicious, the tea was an education and we loved the samples at the fortune cookie factory. We would definitely recommend this to everyone. We had three children on the tour (from another family) and they got to go to the kite store while the adults enjoyed the talk on tea. Great tour!! | ||||||
