Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

A little skeptical on taking a boat under Golden Gate Bridge, thought of being bounced around did not appeal to us. To the contrary the ride was smooth and scenic tour was great. As long as you dress WARM and expect some wind out in the Bay, then you will thoroughly enjoy your excursion. The thought of 1 1/2 hour seems short, but given the tour around Alcatraz then out to view the Golden Gate Bridge, the trip was spectacular. We are boaters and thought what could compare to our experiences on the water. This I would gladly do again with company that come to visit us here in the Bay area.

We have taken this cruise several times over the past five years. The weather is always in question during the Spring, but regardless of the weather, it is always a a great time, and we will be back.

Great fun hanging out in 'cargo net' just above the water, enjoying complementary drinks while comfortable in extra coats provided on board! Can't wait to bring friends and family back to do it again!

We chose this tour because of the small nature of the group that would be on the boat. The guys were incredibly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Since I am someone who gets motion sickness fairly easily, we asked the captain the best place to sit and he directed us to the back corner of the boat which is right by the captain's chair. At first I thought we wouldn't see as much but with the openness of the catamaran there wasn't a bad seat on the boat and we could see everything great and motion sickness was not an issue at all. It also turned out to be the best seat because we were able to ask the captain whatever questions we had and get a great history of all the things we were seeing. Being that we had never been to the San Francisco Bay this was so much fun for our family! The captain and both guys on his staff were so nice, pointing out the different landmarks that we didn't even consider and also offering to take pictures for us. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, these guys are fantastic!!

A visit to SF is not complete without a sail on the bay.

Would highly recommend the Adventure Cat Sunset Cruise to anyone who has a free evening in San Francisco. the staff was knowledgable and courteous, and the trip was remarkable. I would do it again if I get the opportunity.

Chose Adventure Cat Sailing due to reviews on line. Also wanted a sail boat vs. power boat Wonderful experience. Very friendly crew, good amenities on board. Not crowded, so plenty of room to relax

My daughter and father and I had a GREAT time on our sail. The pilot and shipmate were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much to the pilot for letting my father, who's home port was SF while he was in the Navy during the Korean War, pilot the boat. He really enjoyed his opportunity to sail under the Golden Gate one last time.

A perfect trip for a family. My kids had so much fun. Even my 4 year old loved the experience. Great for all ages!

I found AdventureCat while seeking a fun afternoon experience for my wife's birthday, and it turned out to be a very enjoyable and affordable part of a great day for us. I admittedly was a little nervous when I read that they're docked just adjacent to the famous tourist-trap Pier 39, but my fears were quickly put to rest. The 1.5hour tour was perfect: Long enough to ride out past the Golden Gate Bridge, but not so long that we'd get bored of it. 1.5 hours was ideal. They have a small food and drink bar downstairs, and again I was concerned that they'd be ridiculously priced. Wrong again: The prices were perfectly fair. For anyone that wants to get on a smaller boat on the bay, or needs a last minute date/gift idea, it's hard to beat an AdventureCat Bay tour.

Me and my fiance had a wonderful time. It was beautiful drinks were super reasonable the staff were friendly and fun I wud def. Recommend this to anyone we will be doing this again well worth the $35 for an hour NBA half. So much fun!!!!

The first time I experienced the Adventure Cat was on a Birthday date with my now wife. Second time was with my parents. And this final time was with a few friends visiting from out of town. Needless to say, my wife and I have really enjoyed the experience of taking the Adventure Cat out on the bay for an hour or so and experiencing the city from a different angle. We both highly recommend this activity for locals and visitors alike.

The boat was super, the food was fun but what it amazing was the staff of AdventureCat. They truly provided an atomsphere that allowed you to enjoy the boat and the scenary!
