Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge seemed like a romantic prospect. And it was. The tour is a lot of fun. With a great crew- they even let us try our own hand at sailing! We did a sunset tour. It was fun and nice to have a variety of times to choose from. The only thing to consider about a later evening trip is that it can sometimes be socked in, whereas during the day it is likely to be sunnier. Sunny or cloudy though it can get chilly out o. The water; the crew provided war, jackets for us. We were able to be it on the deck taking photos or have a place to sit. Dronks and snacks were also provided though they were not anything to write home about. Overall, we had a fabulous, memorable time and would recommend it to any who want to get an up close feel of the bay. this is a great trip.

Pier 39 is the starting point and easy to locate - the trolley cars stop right there and the cable cars stop a few blocks away. Pier 39 is way too touristy and to be avoided but go there to get on the boat...walk back to little italy for food!! The folks who operate this tour are very nice and the 1.5hr trip is just about the right amount of time. We took some wonderful pictures and had a fun time - definitely squeeze it into your sightseeing...

We booked this at the last minute after a recommendation from the California tourism office. The sunset cruise was definitely a highlight from our trip! Very friendly staff, beautiful sunset, everything as advertised.

This was a great trip! As a SF local, I don't get out on the bay as much as I should. It was well worth the price. Beautiful views of SF, Angel Island, Sausalito, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge. We saw dolphins, kite surfers, and were in and out of fog which made for amazing photos. Staff was friendly, and I felt safe. I highly recommend it!

This was a fantastic experience. We loved the adventure of it, the scenery, the views going under the GG bridge - all of it. The staff was friendly and clearly excellent sailors. The route went around Alcatraz, over to Sausolito, along the coast and under the GG bridge. We then turned around very near a beach below the Marin Headlands (Kirby Cove?) and headed back under the bridge straight back to Pier 39. The boat flew along in the stiff breeze, yet there was very little spray. The option to go into the cabin was nice, it was warm and dry inside. We spent most of our time on the huge front deck, enjoying the breeze and the view. This was WELL worth the money, and the time flew by. All four of us had a GREAT time (my wife and I, and two sons aged 12 and 14). We bought our tickets the same morning we sailed, purchased via phone. The Zerve agent did a good job, coping well with the bad phone connection we had. 6 hours later when we boarded, our group was on the pre-printed passenger list along with everyone else. My wife and oldest son experience some motion sickness, so they took a normal dose of Bonine before the ride. They did not have any trouble, and said later that they probably did not need to have taken it. Do it!

We had a magnificent event with this catamaran. Perfect views of Alcatraz, The Golden Gate and the city. An experience we will never forget!

Great trip! Wear warm clothes and a head covering for strong, cold winds. We loved every minute!

Fun cruise. Cold and windy but crew provided everyone a nice warm jacket.

Loved this sail...took a sunset sail in late July; even so was very cold on the water...bring a good winter type hat and other warm gear and you will love it! such a beautiful time.

The staff and captain were so great. We enjoyed the trip around the bay. Got to see a side of Alcatraz Island that I have never seen before. We saw dolphins and seal...it was such a great trip. I highly recommend it!

Friendly staff. More fun than all the bigger tour boats on the Bay. Plenty of room to walk around, especially the netting platforms open to the water below.

The sail was beautiful as the weather was perfect, for a month of july. The crew was very friendly, they provide light apetizers with drinks included when you buy your ticket. You cn even borrow jackets for free. The captain assistant shares stories about the bay and history of san francisco city. We really had a great time and would highly recommand it to anyone. Its beautiful, safe and a great memory.

I have taken so many different types of visitors on this trip and every single one of them has absolutely loved it. Who else sails you under the Golden Gate Bridge. This boat is safe, relaxing with fabulous views. Everyone always wants to go back. They always say it was so much better than they expected and not the usual tourist activity. I'm always thrilled when someone likes my idea to go on this boat ride so I can go again! My all time favorite!
