Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

For the cost of this cruise I was expecting more. With tourists boarding from around the world and having been on a similar cruise I was expecting at least some narration/history of what we were viewing. So much could have been said about the Golden Gate Bridge when we approached. The same for Alcatraz. Nothing but complete silence from the crew. In fact the entire 1 1/2 hour cruise was silent. I really felt like they were just "on the job". The appetizers were fair, fresh veggies with dip, crackers and brie, bread and spinach dip, nuts...I really felt like my money could have been spent better elsewhere. Some cruises along Pier 45 were asking $15 for a narrated one hour twenty minute cruise! I'll recommend them next time.

We had a beautiful day - the boat was not crowded and the sail started and ended on time. Sailing - as opposed to a large double decker tour boat - was a great way to get pictures and relax at the same time. The captain took care to position the boat and hold it so we could take pictures of major points of interest. The only thing that could have made it better was SOME (not running like on other tours) commentary on what we were seeing.

My boyfriend wanted to celebrate his birthday this year by going out in the SF bay on a sunset cruise with friends. I was very tenative about going out on the water, especially on a catamaran. I am originally from San Francisco and know that the SF bay is pretty much the same as going out in the open ocean. My fears quickly faded when we left Pier 39, however, The Captain was very skilled and professional the whole cruise. The guests (and our friends) were able to enjoy the snacks and drinks throughout the whole cruise. We enjoyed the views from below the Golden Gate and from in and out of the bay. It was quite simply one of the best 1 1/2 hour boat cruises I (or we) have ever been on. It is also an incredible value as well. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time on the Cat. Beats a ferry ride any time.

The cruise around the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge was very nice, my only complaint was they were not very organized at getting people signed at the dock, but over all the cruise was nice.

Many places require an appointment in SF, and we had a 4:30 appointment, that ended at 5:40. The cable car we were riding to get to Pier 39 had mechancial problems and everyone had to get off. Unfortunately this delay caused us to arrive as the Cat I was departing the breaker wall.

Loved my sailing experience. It was my first time sailing and it was a blast!!!

My husband, daughter and I took your sunset cruise around the bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge. This was part of my husbands birthday present. He said it was the best thing we did while visiting San Fran. I couldn't agree more!! The sailing crew let him help put up the sails, that was very cool. The crew was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun:) We had a awesome time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun adventure!!!

We're locals and were taking some out-of-towners out for a day on the bay. We were all very happy with the experience, especially us locals, who've been on sailing tours of the bay many times already, and we were pleased that the boat went a different way than many others. It doesn't circle around Angel Island, but instead goes close to the Marina/Crissy Field and then close to the headlands outside the Golden Gate. It was nice to be able to either wander around the deck or sit just inside for a bit when it got too windy (as it tends to do at this time of year). My only peeve--the receipt said we were supposed to get two complimentary drinks with the ticket, but the drinks were definitely NOT complimentary. Expect to pay for them if you go.

Providing jackets for those who need them is a very nice touch. Very punctual and staff members are friendly. It would be nice if they include some information on the landmark we can see during the trip.

The cruise was perfect, just beautiful. Purchasing the tickets was easy. I recommend the experience highly.

Although it was a foggy day, the cruise was great! Got to see all of the important places from the water! Definitely recommended!

A beautiful day on the bay. The cruise is about an hour and a half. The boat is not crowded and it's just a great way to experience San Francisco. Very windy and a little splashy, but that's part of the fun. Might not be too safe for small children, but older children would love it.
