Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

Lisa and I had a great time on the sail on the Bay. Fortunately the weaher was great: sunny, moderate winds, not too cool. The captain and crew were organized, efficient, hospitable and courteous. We felt that we were well taken care of and never in any danger. Although it wasn't a deficiency, it would be nice if the captain provided a little information about the boat, the sailing on the Bay, the history of Alcatraz, details about the GG Bridge. I wouldn't want a full tour with constant chatter because it was nice that we had our own experience. But the SF Bay is so full of interesting information that a little now and then would provide nuggests for discussion. We will take this sail again and won't be disappointed if my suggestion is not adopted.

After running around town all day, taking this cruise was both relaxing and stimulating...just the right combination. We could bounce around on deck, gawk at the sights and take pictures, or sit inside and enjoy the drinks and snacks. The staff was friendly, the boat was comfortable (they even had extra jackets available, if it got too cold) the views were fabulous. We enjoyed it enormously and plan to do it again next time we visit San Francisco.

I would recommend this charter...the staff was great and professional and the food good!

We had spectacular weather! The trip was really beautiful & fun & scenic. It was my husband's birthday and the perfect gift for him! We will definitely go again! My only complaint is that I would have liked it to be at least 1/2 hr-1 hr longer! ; - > The captain & crew guy were both very nice & low key and helpful too.

This is a very well run operation. You get a view of the city, the Golden Gate and the harbor which is simply unobtainable on land. At $30 a head I think it is a very good value. The captain and crew are both very professional and considerate of their guests. I envy them the opportunity to do this daily. I am very happy my wife and I took the trip.

This sunset cruise was so perfect for me and my partner to celebrate our anniversary. The catamaran ride was smooth, the views were excellent, the snacks and drinks delicious. An absolutely awesome way to spend a couple of hours; felt like I was on vacation. I was raised in the SF Bay Area, and I cannot believe I waited this long to partake in this sunset Bay cruise.

The weather helped. It was pretty sunny. Exciting event was a kite-surfer almost got his kite tangled in the mast of the boat. Whew was that close! It was his fault by the way. The look on his face was, shall we say, intense! You never know what you will encounter out there on the Bay. It was a great trip. Loved it. R.

The cruise was a unique way to spend a sunset. Not real expensive and great views. Don't expect great food but servicable. Just a nice way to see the bay.

We really enjoyed our 1 1/2 hour trip around Alcatraz, past Angel Island, and under the Golden Gate. The boat was comfortable and stable. It was a delightfully quiet way to enjoy the Bay. There was no touristy commentary, no commentary at all. It was a simple pleasure.

Spent our 30th Anniversary in San Francisco and took the sunset cruise our last night. On a previous visit, I'd taken the cruise on the larger catamaran...this time there were only 8 people so they used the smaller boat. Great fun! It was crisp and cool and breezy - we stood on the nets out front and enjoyed every moment! The crew, Capt. Jake and Rosealee were experienced not only in sailing, but in making the guests feel comfortable. The hors dourves and wine was a great touch. It was an exceptional evening for sailing -- we flew along the bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge. We returned to the city just as the sun was beginning to set and the city lights were twinkling. What's not to love?? Don't just stand on the pier and wish that you were on the AdventureCat as it sails out... DO IT!

My husband and I took this cruise and we had a wonderful time. The captain and crew were very cordial and helpful. The most exciting attraction was the Maltese Falcon yacht! Our captain cruised over close enough for everyone to take incredible pictures of this monster-sized yacht! The views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz were phenomenal as well. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting San Francisco. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect Saturday for this opportunity of a lifetime!

Extremely friendly, multi-lingual crew. Very professional. Nice to have such a international mix of passengers. Turned out to be a very reasonably priced , 16th birthday party for my daughter. Her friends had a blast!

Nice people, great time! Do bring a very warm jacket for evening cruise. Will definitely do this again next time I am in San Francisco.

The cruise was the perfect length of time. There was plenty of room to move around and take pictures. The diversity of our fellow travellers made both us old folks and our grown children feel right at home.

We loved the Catamaran day trip. It was affordable, beautiful, clean, great staff and good wine. We would highly recommend to all of our friends who visit San Francisco.
