Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

Went on a wonderful adventure in San Francisco bay. Staff was great and the whole experience was so much fun, in fact it was the highlight of our trip. Loved it!! Will go again if we ever make it to San Francisco again. Want to take the whole family back to enjoy.

Couldn't imagine a better tour around SF and the sights. We were blessed with fine weather and a very friendly, courteous crew who made the trip a fantastic memory for all. Kids loved the open atmosphere and the freedom to move about. Sailing is fun anyway... but to be on a cat on a sunny SF day with the wind in your hair and the sun in your face... thanks for a great time!

We had a blast. 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter loved it. Unique views of San Francisco, Alcatraz, Golden Gate, Bay Bridge and Saucalito.

Took the trip at 6pm on 4-5-07. My girlfriend and I were the only 2 lucky passengers for that voyage. We found the Captain and First Mate very friendly and polite. Durning the whole voyage they were great. Both were funny and smart and made the trip even better. Both my girlfriend and I will recomend the sunset cruise, not only for visitors but for the SF locals. Thanks again for a great experience Adventure Cat.

The evening cruise on the AdventureCat was an excellent tour as an adult only activity. Very professional operation and thoroughly enjoyable.

This was a great way to end our last night in San Francisco. Our family had a great time and will do this again when we return to the bay! The entire trip was relaxing, the secenery awesome and the crew attentive and courteous! I will definently recommend your sunset cruise to our friends!

Our group of 5 included an 89 yr. old woman, our mother, who was celebrating her birthday and her two adult daughters and spouses. We took the trip from Pier 39 in SF. The crew was very helpful in getting my mother aboard the vessel in her wheelchair. The cabin area was very appropriate for a wheelchair person, able to move around to enjoy the sights. I had telephoned in advance to check wheelchair access and the company was very helpful and accurate in answering my questions. We enjoyed the journey--thought we were disappointed by the amount of time we were under power rather than sail. The beauty of this trip is to sail quietly around the bay--turn off the engine! We have recommended this trip to friends.

So much better that the other bay cruises I've done!! This is a wind powered boat, so there wasn't the engine noises. It was so quiet and restful. We loved hearing the sound of the wind on the sails. It was fantastic to feel the gentle rocking of the surf and the feel the breeze. And it was totally cool to see the water unter the cat! There is a mesh net trampoline between the pontoons where you can sit or lay. It's feels very safe and secure, and adds much to the trip. Also, they offer to let passengers steer the boat, which is fantastic. I was amazed at how easy it was & how sensitive the wheel/rudder are. Just a gentle movement to the right or left changes the direction. This bay cruise was the highlight of my year (so far anyway :) We're definitely coming back. When family or friends come from out of state, this will be one of the top things on our list of "to do's".

A guaranteed good time, weather permitting. Great views of the Golden Gate. Bring a jacket!

Our family really enjoyed the sailing trip on the Adventure Cat. We sailed from Pier 39, past Alcatraz and Angel Island, under the Golden Gate Bridge and back in 1.5 hours. The catamaran is fast and very stable, and the trampoline nets up front are great fun to sit in while the boat is sailing. Skipper did a great job of avoiding wakes and sailing through the fast currents and tides of the bay. With about 20 folks on board, everyone had a great time and it was not crowded. Crew was friendly. Would recommend this trip to anyone. Much more of a "real" bay experience than taking a big ferry.

What a great way to see the city, the Golden Gate Bridge, & Alcatraz from the Bay! It's a relaxed sail around the Bay on a great catamaran rather than being horded onto one of the other big "tin can" sightseeing boats. There is a covered area for you to relax & escape the sun and the wind, or if you're like me you'll be out front feeling the water splash up & the wind blowing through your hair. An amazing day! I wish it had been longer than an hour & a 1/2! : )
