Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

We're locals and were taking some out-of-towners out for a day on the bay. We were all very happy with the experience, especially us locals, who've been on sailing tours of the bay many times already, and we were pleased that the boat went a different way than many others. It doesn't circle around Angel Island, but instead goes close to the Marina/Crissy Field and then close to the headlands outside the Golden Gate. It was nice to be able to either wander around the deck or sit just inside for a bit when it got too windy (as it tends to do at this time of year). My only peeve--the receipt said we were supposed to get two complimentary drinks with the ticket, but the drinks were definitely NOT complimentary. Expect to pay for them if you go.

We had a great time! I want to go back and take my kiddo! The best part was going under the bridge and catching the waves. We stood in the front and held onto the railing. We also watched a competitiion going on with some wind surfers. It was the best birthday present ever =)

Enjoyed every minute. Be sure to get there early. Allow for time to find parking!!!

Nice duration, nice crew etc

We had perfect weather and the sail was wonderful. if you want to actually sail in the bay, this cruise is great. However, I was very disappointed that no narration about the boat (aside from basic safety info) or any of the sights we saw, was provided. This excursion is labeled as a "tour" of the bay, which to me implies a tour guide, who will explain what we're seeing. If you ask the crew a direct question they will certainly answer, but nothing is volunteered. I could also have done without the 60's music in the background - the natural sounds of the wind in the sails and the bay itself would have been much more pleasant.

My husband and I were in The City for his 62nd birthday celebration. This was our second Adventure Cat cruise on the Bay. The weather was perfect for a ride out on the trampoline. It was awesome. Our first cruise was on the smaller catemaran "Adventure Cat." This cruise was on "Adventure Cat II." The smaller Cat provides a more exciting ride. We will certainly do this again.

Liked the experience of being out on SF Bay in a smaller boat. The ride was great but could have used some narration of the surrounding area for those not familiar with the area.

Fabulous Time!

Surprised my boyfriend with the sunset cruise and had the best time. It was awsome seeing the city from the water and also going underneath the golden gate bridge. It was pleasant and just so relaxing. It was the highlight of our trip and would recommend it to anyone.

The weather was very poor, but the crew made it as enjoyable as possible. They tried very hard to make it possible to get good pictures and make it a worthwhile experience. We would both recommend it and even maybe do it again.

Initially, my 15 year old son and I booked this cruise together primarily for the catamaran experience. As it turned out, it was truly a unique and up close way to enjoy the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. The crew was professional, competent and friendly. Being on a vessel powered by the whim of the wind and the current allowed us to quitely sneak up on the Golden Gate Bridge gave us the opportunity to be up close on a different level. The catamaran offered shelter if we wanted it, and a little ocean spray if we wanted that! Fisherman's Wharf is very busy with lots of noise, people and things to do. This cruise is a way to get away from that for a little while and it was well worth it.

Had a great time, would do it again.

Loved it. Really enjoyed the peacefulness. likes not having loud music or narration blaring. Staff was super. Great value.
