Not only beautiful, but character-building for son

I loved sailing once upon a time, and have missed it greatly over the years. Having a pre-teen son, it is a great disappointment to me to not be able to expose him to such a great, character-building experience. I consider sailing to be an awesome learning experience, teaching confidence, caution, hard work, patience, self-reliance, inner peace, as well as physical strength and grace. Not only did we enjoy an absolutely beautiful 90 minutes out on the water, amidst gorgeous scenery and a 20 knot wind, but the captain spent some quality time with the two kids on board, showing them how the boat is operated and letting them stand beside him and see for themselves. I've always told my son that sailboats are inherently superior to motorboats..he always argued back saying that he thought he would rather have a motorboat just because it is faster. I think that now he has learned something about sailing that goes deeper than speed, something about the quiet strength of a captain that knows what he is doing. It was the best part of a fantastic trip. |

We took the sunset cruise and enjoyed it very much. Not often that you get to see the back side of the Golden Gate Bridge and the rolling fog was spectacular! It was a great time to relax and enjoy. |

We had an incredible time sailing the bay on Adventure Cat. The captain was a skilled sailor and the crew was friendly and knowledgable. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a trip that we plan to make a annual holiday tradition. |

I prefer to sit outside in the prow even though it is likely I will get wet. With the sails there is no motor noise or gas fumes. The number of people is less than the other tours so it is quieter. Going under the Golden Gate Bridge is fabulous as are the views of SF, islands including Alcatraz and the other boats and ships. The 12 year old in our group liked it! |

Have lived here 53 years and gone under the Golden Gate Bridge numerous times. Sailing under it is a special thrill, especially when you can relax and just enjoy the sights. In my opinion, the view of the city and surrounding points of interest are unmatched for beauty around the world. The crew was top notch in every aspect and the experience couldn't have been better handled or organized. So "Give three cheers and one cheer more for ...." |

This was the highlight of my trip to San Francisco. Spending an hour and half out on the bay on a smaller scale boat was just amazing. There were only 12 of us total, including crew, on the cruise so it was much more personal than what you get on the huge boats. And literally the whole hour and half was spent under sail; the motor was only used to get us in and out of dock. There really isn't anything quite like skimming along the water with the only sound being the waves and the wind in the sails. I can't recommend this highly enough. Worth every penny! |

The boat was fun, I wish there had been a little more narration of what we were seeing. |

This cruise was amazingly breathtaking, and very romantic. Although it was a little cold outside, the boat ride was fantastic with great views, and a trip under the golden gate bridge |

Everything was fine, we had a great time except that we didn't find the gate, where the boat was. But then we just called and they could tell me the way. Recommended: description included where to go! |

We booked our sail on a Tuesday afternoon. There was only one other couple with us, so it was perfect. The bay wasn't crowded and the crew was pleasant, but didn't intrude on our privacy. Perfect day with perfect weather for a sail. |

This is a great way for sailors and non-sailors alike to enjoy the skyline of San Francisco, Alcatraz and of course sailing underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Beautiful photographic opportunities abound. It was the best thing we did while in the area and was great value. We would highly recommend this cruise as a unique way to create wonderful memories. So much better just hearing the sound of the waves and wind rather than a loud diesel engine on other cruise boats. No other way to get the 360 deg view while underway. |

A great way to cruise the bay! Small group setting, friendly crew members and definitely more unique than being on a large boat! |
