Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on AdventureCat. The weather was fantastic and the ride allowed us to take in the fresh air and the beautiful scenery around the bay area. Like other reviewers stated, the catamaran sells only about 50 tickets so the group was not overly large. We found plenty of space at the front of the boat and my girls had lots of fun daring to see if some of the water would splash up against them. We were pleasantly surprised that snacks are very reasonably priced. Drinks and chips were only $1 each. I have a weak stomach so didn't know if I would do well on a 1.5hrs cruise. But the ride on the catamaran was extremely smooth and I had no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting San Francisco. In fact, next time I go, I would sign up again!

After taking other big cat rides in the Virgin Islands, Great Barrier Reef and Hawaii, I was so excited to see that it was an option in San Francisco. We weren't disappointed. Just be sure to wear layers especially in warmer weather as some spots are warm and others quite cold. When reviewing our day, our six year old said this was the most memorable part of the day. Even the big splash of water we got from the wake of another sail boat at the end of our ride turned out to be a funny memory we'll all keep!

ADVENTURECAT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THE CAPTAIN AND CREW ARE VERY HOSPITABLE, AND THE BOAT RIDE UNDER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE WAS BREATHTAKING. 90-MINUTE SAILING TRIP FOR $25 IS AN EXCEPTIONAL BARGAIN FOR A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

Always a great pleasure to go on this excursion. The price is very reasonable and the experience is very enjoyable.

Trip was great. Late July date meant moderate temps (but bring a jacket/sweater). Cruise went all the way to Golden Gate, so lots of photo ops from different perspectives. Crew was knowledgeable and frindly. Would recommend to anyone.

This was our third time sailing with AdventureCat, and it is so much fun and such a great deal! If possible, I would recommend going when it isn't peak tourist season, otherwise the boat is a bit crowded (but still fun!)

best sailing cruise that I have ever been on for $25.00 per person.... the crew was friendly and knowledgeable, the sites of san francisco's skyline were amazing. this was worth my time and money, I would even do it again.....

I really enjoyed the cruise, although it was a little bit more crowded than I would have preferred. The crew was very friendly and helpful, and the accommodations are very comfortable. For those who have a tendency toward motion-sickness, as I do, while the boat was underway I had no problems at all. However there were some times when they just drifted/floated, at which time I felt a little "unsettled". This is not a "tour" in the sense of having a guide tell you all about things or point out places of interest, so if that is what you are looking for you should look elsewhere. If you want a pleasant cruise on the bay, a little music, food & beverages, and interesting sights, this is the place!

We've been on SF Bay Cruises before. This one is a cut above the normal. Being on a sailing cat with a smaller group and more individualized service was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Really couldn't ask that the cat' cruise itself be any better but would be cool to have maybe a pre-recorded "guide" to points of interest during the cruise...

The trip was on time and the crew was courtious. The experience was much more exiting than a ferry trip. The trip around Alcatraz and to the Golden Gate Bridge was well worth the money. I would recommend this tjour oer any other bay tour.

I've been to SF 3 times within the last year. I've kayaked at night time, riden on the Blue/Gold boat for the Sf Bay tour, but this by far was the best. The 65' catamaran was fantastic and well worth the time and money. It was great to stand on the front of the boat and enjoy the views. No deisel motor sound or fumes from the engines, just the wind in your face. The crew was great, the boat was great, it was just a fantastic time all around. I would highly recommend this activity to see SF from the water !!!!

great ride, lotsa fun ,good snack buffet,good captain alert etc. and the view nice cheap too, dont miss it,its a bargain

This is a must experience for tourists and locals alike. The ride could not be any smoother; the views are awesome and the service from crew is excellent. Don't let the $25.00 charge for adults make you miss this wonderful experience. It's more than worth it Try finding a similar experience for the same price!

My fiance and I had a great time on the cruise. From the staff to the boat, the operation was professionally run with the guests comfort and enjoyment obviously on the top of the priority list. I do and have recommended the AdventureCat as easily to out-of-towners as frequently as I do to locals looking to enjoy The City and The Bay in a new way.
