Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

Can't recommend this enough- even though it leaves from Fisherman's Wharf, it is not a cheesy tourist activity at all. Views are amazing, staff are great. We never imagined we'd be on a boat sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge!

Our group had a wonderful experience with Adventure Cat. We had 2 individuals in our group (out of 5) who were on the fence about the cruise in the beginning, and weren't sure they would enjoy it that much. Well, they completely changed their tune during the cruise - they LOVED it, and were so glad that they went. We all loved it, and felt that it was the best activity that we did while on vacation in San Francisco. The price is very reasonable, and Adventure Cat provides a really nice tour. The crew was great - they were friendly and available, but they didn't talk at the passengers through a loud speaker (or at all) during the cruise. The crew just does their job beautifully, and allows the passengers to have a nice, relaxing ride and enjoy the sounds of the bay and take in the beauty. The highlight was being able to go under the Golden Gate Bridge - we were thrilled that we were able to do that! It was a great ride, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was a lot of fun and a great way to spend an evening in San Francisco. We looked at other cruises but were glad we went on this one.

I surprised my mother with a sail around the bay and we both loved it! The only sound is of the wind and sea. NO loud engines, packed tourist or smell of fuel. Small group sails, amazing Captain Hans who is fun, knowledgeable and everything you'd want in a tour guide. This sail is an absolute must when you come to visit, you will relax, learn some history and enjoy the bay in a way that you never could on one of the mass transit double decker tours. Will come back everytime! The sail was the best and most memorable part of our trip! Much love!

This was a great way to spend the one evening I had in San Francisco. The sunset was beautiful, staff was amazing, great value for your $. My only suggestion is due to the nature of what is included in the package (drink tickets, snacks) it is probably better to be experienced with 2+ people. I would definitely do it again if I brought my family with me.

I loved the cruise. The staff onboard were so knowledgeable and friendly. However, I think the cruise was about 30 minutes shorter than advertised. Overall, it was fantastic and I will highly recommend it to everyone.

This excursion is great value and spectacular! Cool/friendly crew. A must do if you visit SF!

After being stranded in LA for 3 hours trying to get to San Fran, the first thing we did when we arrived to San Fran was head to Fisherman Warf to grab some food and drinks. To end the day of travel we had already booked the cruise before hand. The crew was great and informative and very social during the cruise. Cruising the bay with friends, wife, good company, drinks and some snacks was amazing. The views were breath taking. The cold breeze in your face was relaxing. Even got to help raise the sail!! Highly recommend taking a bay cruise with your friends!!!! Will do it again, and again, and . . . .

The catamaran tour was one of the highlights of our trip to SF. It was cold out on the water, but the views of the city, Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge were unmatched. Excellent crew helped round-out a great trip.

Perfect weather......wonderful boat and crew. If you are looking for a less "touristy", less "scripted" tour of SF bay....this would be a great experience to consider.

This was the highlight of my trip to San Francisco. Spending an hour and half out on the bay on a smaller scale boat was just amazing. There were only 12 of us total, including crew, on the cruise so it was much more personal than what you get on the huge boats. And literally the whole hour and half was spent under sail; the motor was only used to get us in and out of dock. There really isn't anything quite like skimming along the water with the only sound being the waves and the wind in the sails. I can't recommend this highly enough. Worth every penny!
