Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

I usually love this thing and have gone 3 times so far. Unfortunately the most recent time wasn't too great. I can't believe that Adventurecat would cram such a small boat with over 20 people. It was too crowded and it didn't give you enough space to enjoy the ride. I felt I had to fight for space on the boat. I think they should limit the amount of people. I'm more than happy to pay double the price if this keeps the number of people down on the boat. I've gone in the past when it was around 10 - 12 people which was a perfect amount. This time it was just way too crowded. I understand that it is a business and cycles is key in cash flow, however, couldn't you offer a VIP package that costs a little more, limits the amount of people, and even include a full meal or more drinks? Just a thought.

Everything about this experience was great Can't recommend this enough.

Our family of 4 (2 early teen boys) all LOVED the cruise -Despite the fact that we didn't get to see a sunset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Staff was great -as well as everything else!!! The extra jackets that they had on board were a life saver! I would absolutely recommend to anyone that wants an adventure!!!

Although the crew had no control over the weather (it was glorious), they did control the fast speed (12 knots), the area covered, and the friendly service below deck. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sailing on a Cat, and I would go again anytime. Our safety was never a concern, so I can recommend this sail to any family. One suggestion: a small locker for the ladies' purses would have been nice.

My husband and I took this cruise and we had a wonderful time. The captain and crew were very cordial and helpful. The most exciting attraction was the Maltese Falcon yacht! Our captain cruised over close enough for everyone to take incredible pictures of this monster-sized yacht! The views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz were phenomenal as well. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting San Francisco. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect Saturday for this opportunity of a lifetime!

Extremely friendly, multi-lingual crew. Very professional. Nice to have such a international mix of passengers. Turned out to be a very reasonably priced , 16th birthday party for my daughter. Her friends had a blast!

We had a very nice time. The crew did not have us on there list...But I took my reciept and the captian was very nice about it....No questions asked.....

My wife, sister, 9 year old daughter and myself went on the sunset cruise. We enjoyed it VERY much. It was one of two highlights of our vacation. It is well worth the money spent!

Had a great time!!! We especially loved the views from the water. Even though we were on a boat with strangers we all had a blast. The weather was wonderful and we will highly recommend the trip to anyone!!!

It was my first real trip to San Francisco and our cruise on the AdventureCat was fantastic. We had a small group on our tour which made it even nicer. We sailed around Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate Bridge and back to the Warf. The staff was friendly, the boat was clean, and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend this cruise for those with limited time in the city but want to see all they can. It does get cold and you can get wet, but it is worth the risk. Bring a jacket and your camera!

Nice people, great time! Do bring a very warm jacket for evening cruise. Will definitely do this again next time I am in San Francisco.

More exciting than a ferry or traditional tour boat. On the catamaran you are closer to the water and it is more open. It feels less touristy and more intimate--like sailing with friends. Also, the sunset cruise offers two free drinks and snacks.

The cruise was the perfect length of time. There was plenty of room to move around and take pictures. The diversity of our fellow travellers made both us old folks and our grown children feel right at home.

This was such a perfect way to spend an afternoon, especially celebrating a special occasion. The crew was low key yet professional, getting on the boat was simple, safety instructions minimal, and then the cruise was more fun than expected as the wind gave us great speed but not so strong as to need more than a light jacket. Easy to enjoy adventure in a world class attraction!!!
