One day down at the Berkeley Marina, I was looking at the sailboats and thinking how ideal it would be to see the grand sights oft he San Francisco Bay under sail. I checked around with the harbormaster at the marina and with the friends of my son and his family who live in the area.. No one had a clue! Then I happened on this small ad ( or was it an article) )in the local Where magazine for visitors. Wow, exactly what i was looking for . And it was a catamaran,. Nice and stable. And spacious. The boat sailed promptly at 3 o' clock.; for those of us from the East Coast who did not dress warmly enough to stand ourt on the deck, we could sit snugly indoors by the llarge windows. Next visit I will take the sunset cruise.

I wanted to take my boyfriend on a fun and unique date and a friend recommended Adventurecats. We had a wonderful time, taking in the beautiful views, enjoying the great service, and just enjoying a beautiful day on the water. I had high expectations going in and they definitely met my expectations. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun Saturday and Sunday afternoon activity in the city.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the sunset cruise. The views were breathtaking and the crew was very hospitable. It would be fun to have the crew include some facts about some of the sights. Thank you!

If you like san francisco, seeing the bridge, and the idea of being out on the bay under sail with a nice crew - and a boat that was big enough to be safe and secure - but not holding too many people - this is it. absolute highlight of our visit. well done whoever runs it. celine and liam

My husband and I were on our retirement trip and this will always be a memorable part. Everything was wonderful! Ours was a sunset cruise and I would add to the description of the cruise that nice, warm jackets are provided on board.

Our family had a great trip - lovely sunny windy afternoon. Crew were friendly and helpful. Great views of San Francisco, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge as well as windsurfers, kitesurfers.

Before planning this trip, I did a lot of research on the different types of cruises avaliable on the Bay. I was looking for something relaxing, that wasn't going to spout out 7 different languages, and that took us under the bridge and near Alkatraz. I was very impressed with this cruise. As a college student, the price was right. Other cruises with dancing or dinner are over $100, so this was a great option. Because it was a cruise during sunset time, it was still romantic and a great birthday date. The cruise comes with 2 drink tickets get person which include alcohol. Also, there are several snacks for everyone that are very tasty and of great quality. Soft music is playing at the front of the boat, mostly Eagles and other light classic rock, and it made for great atmostphere. The crew is very friendly laid back. I would really recommend this cruise!

enjoyed the cruise very much, going at sunset provided unique picture opportunities of the golden gate bridge and bay. very cold and windy you will definatley need a jacket, but the crew had jackets that could be worn during cruise.

I took my husband, mother, son and daughter-in-law on the AdventureCat daytime cruise, in part to celebrate my son's and mother's birthdays. My husband and I had been on the sunset cruise and loved every minute of it, so wanted to share the experience with the rest of the family. Everyone LOVED it! I wish it lasted longer, it was so much fun. I would go again in a heartbeat and would heartily recommend it to anyone considering it!! I am now trying to convince some friends of ours to go with us!! It is well worth the price.

My Fiance were on a road trip that landed us in San Francisco. The AdventureCat Sunset Cruise was all I expected it to be. The cruise was relaxing, fun, not crowded (I don't like big crowds) and very romantic. We had opportunities to take great shots of the sunset, the fog rolling in over the Golden Gate Bridge. We also met great people from all over on vacation and the crew was funny and helpful. The appetizers were good and the bar was great. Any bar that serves hot chocolate is great with me. Definetly bring a sweater, it gets quite chilly out there and you might get a bit wet. We would definetly do this tour again.

The trip exceeded my expectations. The crew was so nice and helpful- one guy even drew a diagram to answer a sailing question. The food was nice and the wine pours were very generous. The views were amazing and for once fog was NOT an issue. It would have been nice to know which islands we were passing though. The music and ambiance was great and the other people on the boat were very nice. If you are prone to motion sickness you will definitely need to prepare for this. If I hadn't taken dramamine, I would have been in serious trouble. You definitely need to bring a jacket for the wind and maybe the spray of the bay.

My father visited San Francisco from Las Vegas. Having been to the city so many times I was at a loss at what to do. Living in the city, I couldn't handle any "Tourist" attractions. The Adventure Cat came to mind when I was remembering a walk I took on the pier when I had first moved to city. The beauty of the Catamaran caught my eye and took me by surprise. It reminded me of times on my parent's sailboat which my father sadly sold a few year's ago. So the plans were set. I was unsure how my father would feel, being a passenger under another captain's sail. As soon as we pushed off however, he was in love. It was obvious the chance to be out on the water again was amazing for him, paired with the views of Golden Gate (one we can't see we have ever seen before), Alcatraz and a few seals, he praised the entire trip thoroughly. All in all, this was the perfect trip for us.

We loved this trip and thought it was a great way to finish a day in SF. We will go again and take our out-ot-town visitors with us. There was no narration on the trip which is fine for the locals or Americans that knkow the area. But if you had foreign guests, then another option might be better. But for us, this was great. It was colder than we expected. But they had jackets we could borrow. Nice refreshments too.

The staff is really sympathic, and sailing the bay in a catamaran was a great experience... even if the sunset was a little bit hidden by the fog! Anyway the buffet and drink made this tour very enjoyable. I recommend it to anybody, that is worth the price! PS: do not forgot to bring a warm jacket if you want to enjoy being outside on the catamaran's deck!
