What are the Faculty Showcases?
Faculty Concerts are presented at both campuses and feature the Conservatory's gifted faculty members, who collectively have professionally recorded and marketed over 300 albums. Many of the Faculty Showcase performances involve performances of new works composed by members of our faculty. Examples of previous programming include the following: Peck Almond and the Kalimba Kollective; solo piano recital by Eugenia Betman; recital by pianist Junie Cho & clarinetist Hana Kim; Nurse Kaya; pianist, Beth Levin; jazz violinist, Pamela Hamilton; jazz bassist, Dan Freeman and his quartet; and the Jenny Hill Quintet.
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
You must purchase tickets in advance to guarantee your seats at a concert. You can purchase directly at the concert venue right before the performance, but we can't guarantee that any seats will be left.
Are there child and other reduced price tickets available?
Yes! Reduced priced tickets are available for all full-time students of any school or institution, children (16 and younger), and seniors (62 and older). Please choose the appropriate number of reduced price tickets when you are completing your purchase.
How old do I have to be to purchase a senior ticket?
We consider seniors to be those attendees age 62 and older.
Do I have to be a student of the Conservatory in order to purchase a Reduced price student ticket?
No! We welcome students from any institution to purchase the Reduced tickets.
Is there assigned seating at the concerts?
Events at the Conservatory are general admission without assigned seating.
If I purchase a Reduced (students and seniors) ticket, do I still get to sit with my group if they've purchased Standard tickets?
Yes! All Standard and Reduced tickets are good for general admission seating. If an event has Premium seating, however, you will need to purchase a full price Premium ticket in order to be eligible for one of those seats.
Where do the concerts take place?
The concerts that take place in the Brooklyn Concert Hall, as well as those at the Montauk Club, are held in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn. The concerts that take place in the Queens Concert Hall are held in the Flushing area of Queens. Once you purchase tickets for a particular concert you will immediately be provided the exact address for that concert venue.
Is parking available near the concert venue?
Because of parking difficulties, we recommend you take public transportation if at all possible.
Is any food or beverage available?
There is no concession stand at the Conservatory, so food and beverages will not be available.
Are food and drinks allowed in the concert venue?
Food is not allowed in the concert hall and only bottled water is permissible. Please fill up before you come!
Is there a dress code?
No, while there is no specific dress code, please dress appropriately for the concert you are attending.
Is there a bathroom available at the concert venue?
The Conservatory is ADA compliant and has bathrooms available for patrons.
Can I take photos or videos during the concert?
Digital or analog video, pictures, or sound recording of performances is not permitted by law.
Are gift certificates available for the concerts?
No, unfortunately gift certificates are not available for the concerts.

Tell me more about Tony Cimino and Jinah Park? (Sat Dec 13 @ 8 pm)
Award winning pianist Jinah Park and flautist Tony Cimino will perform as a duet on Saturday, December 13th at 8pm. Also Tony Cimino will be displaying new works of art inspired by the music that will be played during this performance. The program will consist of Beethoven Piano Sonata Op 54 “Waldstein” and Franck Flute Sonata in A major. There will also be additional works by Bach, Chaminade and Ginastera.
