Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay cash?
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and tours often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa or Mastercard. Cash is not accepted. Please note: this tour will be limited to six people so be sure to buy your tickets ahead of time!
Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child?
Yes, please purchase a Child ticket for children ages 5-12. Though this tour might not hold the interest of all young children, you know your child best. We ask, however, that you do NOT bring children under 5.
How much walking is involved? Is it a fast-paced tour?
We will visit two churchyards that are a short distance from each other. The graveyards are small and don't require a lot of walking but there is a lot of standing.
Are there restrooms along the way?
Yes. Both churches have restrooms for public use.
Are there places to sit and rest?
There are a few benches close to the graves at St. Paul's. There are none at Trinity Church.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. The churches are, but the graveyards are not.
Will there be opportunities to get a beverage or a snack while on the tour?
We'll pass some street vendors on the walk between churches, so bring extra cash if you might want to try the cart fare. Please keep in mind that food and beverages are not allowed in the churchyards. (Water bottles are okay.)
Is this a scary tour?
No. It's completely historical.
Where does the tour end?
Trinity Church. You will be at Broadway and Wall Street, and your guide will be glad to point you to the nearest subway or help you hail a cab to get you on your way.
Can I ask questions?
Of course!
Is picture taking allowed in St. Paul's Chapel and Trinity Church?
Yes, except when a service is in progress.
What happens if it rains or snows?
The tour runs rain or shine, but does not run in severe weather. If we are forced to cancel the tour due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule to another date or receive credit for a future event.
Are dogs allowed?
No. Dogs are not allowed in the churches or graveyards.
Are private tours available?
While private tours can be arranged, most people enjoy the public tours even more! If you have a particular area of interest, just let us know while booking your ticket, and we'll likely be able to talk about that subject on the tour, for the enjoyment of the whole group. If you are interested in booking a private tour, please email us by clicking on the "Contact This Seller" link.
