Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and tours often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets may be purchased using a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
If a tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?
We do not provide a waiting list. If a date is sold out, there is always a chance that we will add an additional tour. Please contact us by clicking the "Contact this seller" link to let us know what date you are interested in.
Is the tour still on if it rains?
The tour goes out rain or shine! But don't worry, we're used to the changeable weather here, and we'll adapt the tour to it. Besides, the weather in San Francisco can change rapidly, so it could be sunny again by the time the tour starts!
How much walking is involved? Is the tour strenuous?
The pace of the tour is leisurely, and we will pause frequently to stop and discuss. We will be on our feet for most of the tour, except for a stop at a coffee shop for about 15 minutes. The route covers about two miles.
How long does the tour last?
The tour will last between 2 and 2.5 hours, depending on the group's interests and pace.
Are the cups of coffee included in the price? Is there any food included?
No, the coffee is not included in the price of the tour. However, you are welcome to select the beverage of your choice at any of the coffee shops we stop at! There is no food included, either, but there will be delicious pastries available for purchase at the coffee shop as well.
Is there anywhere on the tour that we could stop to get food?
Yes! We will be stopping for about 15 minutes partway through the tour. The coffee shop we'll be at offers some of the best pastries in San Francisco, as well as sandwiches, so it's a great place for a quick bite to eat.
Is this tour wheelchair and stroller accessible?
This tour is a fairly leisurely walk, but it does include a hill and a set of stairs. Strollers are not recommended, but you may bring one if you'd like. If you are interested in taking the tour in a wheelchair, please use the "Contact this seller" link so that we can try to accommodate your needs.
Can I bring my dog on the tour?

Can I bring my small children on the tour?
Yes! You are welcome to bring kids, though keep in mind that the tour does have a lot of walking and focuses on culture and history. There is a reduced-price ticket for ages 5-11, and kids under 5 are free.
What should I bring on the tour?
Bring your camera - we'll see some beautiful areas of the city! Also, you are welcome to bring your own food or drinks on the tour.

Are there headsets on this tour?
No, we like to keep the groups small and intimate, so there's no need for headphones!
