London Bridge Jet Boat Tour to Lake Havasu |
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets must be purchased in advance in order to guarantee your spots on the boat. Please book well in advance to guarantee getting a spot on the day and time you prefer! You may purchase tickets using a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
Do you ever cancel tours due to bad weather?
The tour runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but we may cancel the tour up to a half hour before hand in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If the tour is canceled, you will be able to reschedule your tickets or receive credit for a future event!
Can I bring children on the tour?
Sure! Children 12 years of age and under have a reduced price ticket and are more than welcome to attend. Children ages 2 and under are free, but must have a ticket in order to attend and must share a seat with an accompanying adult.
Which meeting location should I choose?
If you are staying at the Riverside Resort, Aquarius Casino, or the Edgewater Casino, you should choose the Edgewater Casino as your pickup point since it's the closest! If you're staying at the Colorado Belle, Tropicana Express, Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall, Golden Nugget, or River Palms, you should choose the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall as the closest pickup point. Harrah's Casino's pickup is offered for registered Harrah's hotel guests only.
What exactly will we see on the tour?
On our scenic jet boat ride, you will start at the Colorado Riverwalk and travel 58 miles on the Colorado River. We will pass amazing wildlife and scenery on the route to Topock Gorge. After the Gorge we'll head to London Bridge. Enjoy two hours of fun at the Island Mall, and then we'll head back!
Is the tour narrated?
Every now and then we will slow down and tell you all about the sights we are seeing. When the boat is going fast it's difficult to provide narration, but we'll do the best we can! There will be a $1 tour guide book that you can purchase upon check-in that will explain everything you'll see along the way. Bring money if you're interested in getting the guide book!
What time zone are you in?
Although we are located close to the border of Arizona and Nevada, all times listed are local Nevada time, which is the Pacific time zone. From the 1st Sunday of November through the 2nd Sunday in March, Arizona is one hour ahead of Nevada. If you're coming from Arizona, please keep in mind that local times will differ by an hour during that time period, even if you're just a short ride away.
Is the tour suitable for pregnant women?
The tour should be safe for pregnant women up to their 6th or 7th month of pregnancy. The ride can get a little bit bumpy from time to time, so pregnant women in the later part of their pregnancy should consult their doctors before participating.
Are there any foods or beverages available on the boat?
Unfortunately there won't be any foods or beverages available for purchase on board the jet boat, but you will be able to eat and drink as much as you like at London Bridge! Make sure to bring extra cash or a credit card with you if you want to purchase foods or beverages during that portion of the tour. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages on board with you as long as they aren't in glass bottles!
Can I bring my own food and beverages on board?
Feel free to bring a beverage with you on board; sorry, no coolers allowed!
Can I bring alcohol on the boat?
Sure! Feel free to bring alcohol on board as long as it's not in a glass bottle. Also we recommend a limit of two beverages per person on board. Keep in mind that there are no restrooms on the jet boat, so you will have to wait until you arrive at the Island Mall to use the restroom.
What restaurants are available at London Bridge?
There are six excellent restaurants at London Bridge in the Island Mall area, including Barley Brothers Brewery, Shugrue's Fine Dining, Makai Cafe, Javelina Cantina, Channel Island, and Kelly's Coffee and Fudge shop! Although reservations at Island Mall restaurants are not required, we do recommend that you reserve a spot in advance if you wish to get lunch during the 2 hour layover, especially if you have a large group of people.
Can I bring a personal cooler/ice chest with me?
Due to limited space coolers are not allowed on board. Do feel free to bring beverages with you though, as long as they're not in glass bottles!
Is there room to stow my belongings on board?
There is very limited space to stow your belongings on board. Feel free to bring a backpack or small bag with necessary personal items, but please try to limit it to the essentials!
What kind of seating is available on the boat?
The boat has plenty of seating! You will be able to sit for the duration of the boat ride.
How should I dress for the seasonal temperature / weather?
We suggest that you dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Please keep in mind that Laughlin gets pretty hot from May through September. We'll have the boat totally open air during these months to let in a refreshing breeze, but you still won't need a jacket. We suggest wearing light, breathable fabrics to help you stay cool. Also, please don't forget your sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. During the cooler months don't forget your sweatshirt or jacket. Boats are open-sided with canopies (and real glass windows in the cold season) providing shade and some protection from the elements.
Am I likely to get seasick?
It is very unlikely that you will get seasick. The boat ride is similar to driving along a dirt road - there may be some bumpiness from time to time, but other than that it's a smooth ride. If you are particularly prone to motion sickness, you may want to consider taking preventative measures beforehand.
Is there a restroom on the boat?
Unfortunately there is on restroom on the jet boat. You will be able to attend the restrooms once we dock at Island Mall, so please try to use the restroom before we leave!
Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
The boat is not wheelchair accessible. However, we are able to transport a wheelchair on board for your use at the Island Mall. If you have limited mobility and are able to board the boat with assistance, then we will definitely be able to accommodate you.
