Greenwich Village Tour with Tom Bernardin |
How long does the tour last?
The tour is about two hours in length.
How much walking is involved?
A lot. We will be pausing throughout the tour, and will try to sit when possible, but best if you are prepared to be on your feet for a couple of hours.
Is this a Sex and City Tour?
No way. I'm not your guy for that.
Is there the chance to eat on the tour?
Not really. But we will be passing many restaurants and you could take a quick look at the menus for a future visit. I am prepared, however, to arrange a food tasting tour upon request. If you are interested in this option, please click the "contact this seller" link.
What happens if it rains or snows?
The tour usually runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but it may be canceled in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If we are forced to cancel the event due to weather, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule tickets (subject to availability) or receive credit for a future tour.
Where does the tour finish?
We finish right where we began.
Is advance purchase required? Can I pay in cash at the start of the tour?
Advance purchase is not required but strongly suggested. And, yes, you can pay in cash at the start of the tour.
Can I book a private out?
Sure can! I can arrange it for your convenience.
Does this tour have anything to offer a native of New York City.
It sure does. There is always al ot to learn about any neighborhood in New York.
Is the tour appropriate for very young children?
Not really.
If I bring an infant or a very young child, do I need to purchase a ticket for them?
No, it is not necessary.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Most of the intersections in the Village have curb cuts. However, we may encounter some that do not. I would say that it is wheelchair accessible, but understand that we may encounter some obstacles. And we cover a lot of turf.
