Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Advance purchase is strongly recommended, and cruises often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please buy your tickets well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Which yacht will I be on?
You will be on either the 64 foot Destiny (49 guests), the 105 foot Emerald Star (225 guests) or the 90 foot Olympic Star (150 guests). Each boat is well marked and our stewards will greet you on the dock. Yacht selection is determined by the cruise guest count.
How do I get to the dock?
The dock is located at The Lakeside Event Center on north Lake Union. Further details will be provided upon purchasing your tickets.
What type of ticket should I buy if I'm bringing a very young child?
Children 4 years of age and younger can attend for free, but must have a free ticket due to Coast Guard regulations. Children between the ages of 5 and 11 have a special reduced priced ticket!
Is food served during the cruise?
Food and beverages are not included in the ticket price, but a variety of snacks, luncheon items and drinks will be available for purchase on board. Gourmet sandwich lunches with chips, dessert, potato salad and sandwich ($11), individual snacks and sandwiches ($2.00-$5.50), sodas ($1.50), handcrafted espresso drinks ($3.00 -$3.50) and full bar services will be available for purchase on board. Lunches are available for pre-order upon purchasing your tickets.
What is the picnic basket lunch option?
You can order a picnic basket lunch to eat on board during the cruise. Lunches include a gourmet sandwich on freshly baked bread with a sides of Rosemary Stone Ground Mustard, Potato Salad, Cookie Bar and Potato Chips. Sandwich options include Roasted Roast Beef with Sun Dried Tomato Aioli, Roasted Turkey with Pesto Aioli or Roasted Vegetable and Hummus (vegetarian). The Picnic Meals are $11. For children we offer a $6 Classic Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly meal with a cookie bar and chips. Please let us know what you would like upon purchasing your tickets! To ensure availability of your preferred meal please order your picnic lunch along with your tickets. Sandwiches and meals are also available for on board purchase but selection may be limited.
How about drinks? Should I bring those?
You may bring one bottle of water per passenger but additional personal beverages are prohibited. There will be beer, wine, and full bar services available for purchase during the cruise. Bring valid ID with you if you'd like to purchase alcoholic beverages on board. Non-alcoholic options include sodas, Italian Cream Sodas, Espresso Beverages / Lattes and Strawberry Lemonade.
How steady is the cruising? Am I likely to get seasick?
The yachts are steady, gentle vessels. It is very rare for our guests to become seasick since we stay on the Lakes which are not as rough as Puget Sound. While most people do not experience any sea sickness on the yachts, you may want to consider light medication if you normally take it for motion sickness. However, we cannot officially advise you to take any medication.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
Yes, restrooms are located on the main level of each vessel.
Can I stow anything (eg, my briefcase) during the cruise?
There is limited room to stow personal belongings. Please do not bring any heavy or large items such as luggage on board.
What should I wear?
You will be most comfortable in flat soled shoes but any type of footwear is acceptable. We also recommend a jacket in the spring or fall seasons if you want to sit on the outdoor decks.
Where does the cruise finish?
Our cruises will end at the same pier from which they departed.
Do you ever cancel cruises due to bad weather?
The cruise usually runs rain or shine. The only time we cancel a trip is in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. Our captains monitor the radar to watch fronts and cells in the area on days when inclement weather is possible. Cancellations are made on the day of the cruise, by the Captain, up to 1 hour prior to departure time. If you have purchased tickets for a cruise that is canceled, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your tickets (subject to availability) or receive credit towards a future event.
What happens if it starts raining when we're out on our cruise?
In the event of rain, we'll still continue the cruise! We have fully enclosed lower decks and depending on the ship either an awning or a fully enclosed upper deck of the boat. You are in Seattle and rain is what we are known for!
Is gratuity included in the price of the cruise?
Gratuity is not included in the price of the cruise. If you've enjoyed your experience, tips for our hardworking crew are greatly appreciated!
Are the boats ADA accessible?
Our boats may be disabled/wheelchair accessible depending upon the specific details of your situation. There are step-overs on the boat doorways. Staff will be on hand to help guests with limited mobility. If you have a small, non-motorized wheelchair, we may be able to bring it on board with us. However, the upper decks will not be accessible for wheelchairs as we are not equipped with lifts or elevators. Restrooms are on the lower level on all the boats but are not certified handicapped accessible. For any additional questions, please click on the "Contact this seller" link.
Is there assigned seating on the cruises?
No, seating is first come first served on the daytime sightseeing cruises. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the cruise is scheduled to depart. We will begin boarding exactly 30 minutes beforehand, but you should allow time to find parking and come into the park to check in.
Is there shade on the boat?
Depending on the boat there may be partial overhangs to allow guests to enjoy the outdoors with some shade. Of course since you are in Seattle the sun is a welcome change and locals find any excuse to sit in full sun on the water.
Can I book a private charter?
Private cruises are available on the all of our yachts. If you're interested in a private charter, please click on the "Contact this seller" link to make a request. We also offer deck charters on many of our cruises to give you a private area for celebrations and larger groups.

Do you offer a senior discount on this cruise?
We do not offer a senior discount on this cruise. However we do offer discounts on some of our popular dinner cruises offered throughout the week.
