Activity Description
Culinary Tours of Charleston is partnering with many of the best restaurants in Charleston to bring food lovers a special treat – a behind the scenes tour into chef’s kitchens to learn about what it takes to produce fabulous cuisine.
Both locals and visitors can leisurely explore downtown restaurants and get a feel for what these fine dining establishments are all about.
On this tour, you will:
- Learn about each chef's humble beginnings and appreciate their current menus and cooking style
- Leave with a greater understanding of the inner workings and underlying ideas of favorite restaurants.
Guests will have an opportunity to explore not just the history of the building, but the concept and organization that goes into making it a successful culinary landmark.
What Is Not Included?
At the start of the tour, participants are provided with coffee or tea and a pastry. You may wish to make plans for lunch after the tour, as no other food is provided.
