During the tour, you may purchase drinks and snacks from our Snack Bar which features soft drinks, a full-liquor bar and light snacks. Our boat offers you a comfortable, enjoyable and fun narrated boat cruise in the air conditioned main salon or on our covered observation deck as your captain describes the fascinating sights along the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, the amazing mansions along “Millionaires Row” and Port Everglades.

FAQs

What about parking?
There are several parking garages in the area that offer parking. Additonally, there is metered parking available along the street. The parking garages accept cash and credit cards.
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets may be purchased in advance in order to guarantee your spots on the boat. Please book well in advance to guarantee getting a spot on the day and time you prefer! You may purchase tickets using a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
What happens if it rains?
We will still run in light rain and other mild weather conditions. The boat deck is covered and there is also an air conditioned indoor main salon that will protect you from the rain!
Can I bring children on the tour?
Yes! Children ages 4 through 16 have a reduced junior ticket price, and children under 4 are free, however you must still reserve a ticket for them as they will need a boarding pass to board the boat.
Is the cruise suitable for pregnant women?
The cruise is suitable for pregnant women. We cruise the New River and Intracoastal Waterway and do not go out into the ocean, so the ride is pretty smooth and you shouldn't have any problems.
Where does the tour take us and what will we see?
Our tour boat cruises up the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway and Port Everglades. You will see such sites as: Stranahan House, Radio Shack House, Michael Egan Compound, Wayne Huizenga Estate, 6 Million Dollar Man Home, La Maison Blanche, Lauderdale Grande Hotel, Broward Convention Center, Port Everglades Cruise Ships, 17th Street Causeway, Hyatt Pier 66 Hotel, House of Butterflies, other luxury homes, mega yachts and much much more...
Are there any foods or beverages available on the boat?
We offer snacks for sale including hot dogs, chips, and ice cream, and prices range from $1 for chips to $3 for hot dogs We also offer soft drinks and alcoholic beverages including soda, juices, beer, wine and mixed drinks which range from $3 to $6. Please bring extra cash if you'd like to purchase food or drinks onboard.
Can I bring my own food and beverages on board?
You may bring a snack onboard with you. We also sell some light snacks at our ticket booth and onboard the vessel.
Can I bring alcohol on the boat?
No, you cannot bring your own alcohol onto the boat, but you can purchase alcoholic drinks from the full liquor bar in the main salon as long as you have valid identification and are 21 years of age or older.
Can I bring a personal cooler/ice chest with me?
No - personal coolers/ice chests are not allowed on board.
Is there room to stow my belongings on board?
Yes, the boat has ample room for passengers to bring their personal belongings or shopping bags aboard. Remember that no personal food or drink is allowed on board!
Are there restrooms on board?
There are two restrooms on board for our passengers' convenience.
What kind of seating is available on the boat?
Seating is first come, first served. There are two main seating options: in the air conditioned cabin on the main deck that has panoramic views, and on the top observation deck that is open on all side but covered on top. Both areas will give you a great view of the sights along the way!
Is the boat safe?
The boat is absolutely US Coast Guard certified and inspected regularly. There is no need to wear a life jacket during the cruise although the boat is fully equipped with life jackets for all 149 US Coast Guard Certified passengers.
Are your captains licensed?
We have some of the finest captains in the South Florida area and they are all coast guard licensed and drug tested. You will be completely safe on our cruise!
Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
The Riverfront Cruise boat is wheelchair accessible on the first deck only. Passengers with wheelchairs will not have access to the second deck, but will be able to enjoy the cruise just as much from the first deck! Our crew will assist anyone onto the boat who needs help.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted on the back of the boat on the aft deck.
Will I get seasick?
It is very unlikely that you will get seasick since we cruise the New River and Intracoastal Waterway and do not go out into the ocean. If you are highly prone to motion sickness, consider taking preventative measures beforehand.
Where does the tour end?
The tour ends exactly where it begins!
Is there anything fun to do around the meeting location?
Yes! In the Riverfront, there are several restaurants, souvenir shops, and more exciting places to visit. The meeting location is also only a few short blocks away from the famous Las Olas district, where plenty of shopping and eating abounds!
Should I tip the crew?
Tipping is greatly appreciated if you enjoyed your experience on board.
