Before you start your 100-minute tour, all participants will be given a 15-minute lesson to make sure you're safe and comfortable gliding along the roads. After you've acquired your "Segway Legs" you'll be prepared for your personal adventure and your most exciting experience yet.
Our tours take you through the carefully planned nature trails in the town of Celebration. Celebration is a unique community dreamed of and designed by Walt Disney. During the 100-minute tour, you will spend approximately 60 minutes of glide time touring within Celebration.
Your guide will share their knowledge about the history of the town, as well as some of the plant life and wildlife you may see along the way. Some of the highlights that you'll see in Celebration include:
Panoramic views of the area

Multi-million dollar mansions
And possibly some alligators!
All tours are led by our friendly guides. They complete the entire experience!

How old do you need to be to ride a Segway?
Although riding a Segway is fairly easy, all riders are required to be at least 14 years of age (an adult or guardian must accompany children under 18).
What are the weight constraints to ride a Segway?
Segway recommends that the riders weigh at least 100 pounds and do not exceed 250 pounds. 250 pounds is the equivalent of 113.6 Kilograms or 17.85 Stone.
Can more than one person ride on one Segway?
No. This will pose a serious risk to two passengers as the machine is designed for only one. One machine for each person on the tour.
I have children in my group that are under 14 years old. Can they still come on the tour?

Is the tour suitable for pregnant women?
No, pregnant women are not allowed to ride Segways for safety reasons.
What if I have an injury. Can I go on the tour?
We don't recommend people with previous neck or back injuries to participate in the tour for safety reasons. However, for those with leg injuries, we may be able to accommodate them using a "seated Segway." What is the difference between the tours?
The 70-minute tour is a great overview of Celebration and very popular with those who want to leave enough time to do other activities while in town. The 100-minute tour gives you 60 minutes of time in Celebration and the extra time gives guests the opportunity to see more of the panoramic waterways and beautiful multi-million dollar homes. The 130-minute tour is our best tour ever! You get a 90-minute glide through some of the most amazing nature trails around. The longest one is nearly a half mile in length and winds through some protected forestry where you can see deer, wild turkeys and on the rarest of occasions...wild hogs! You will also take in some of the largest mansions in Celebration. One of them is 19,000 square feet of paradise!
How much time of the tour is actually spent on a Segway?
The entire experience lasts about two hours and the majority of your time will be on the Segway. We start off with a short 15-minute training session and then we'll be on the Segway for the remainder of the time. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes to get from our shop to Celebration, so we spend about 60 minutes in Celebration on this tour. There are no stops unless the tour group would like to take a moment to rest or take pictures.
What is a Segway?
The Segway is the first self-balancing, electric-powered transportation device. With dimensions no larger than the average adult body and the ability to emulate human balance, the Segway uses the same space as a pedestrian, and can go wherever a person can walk.
How does a Segway work?
This breakthrough technology, termed "dynamic stabilization," is the essence of the Segway. Dynamic stabilization enables the Segway to work with the body's movements. Gyroscopes and sensors in the unit monitor a rider's center of gravity at about 100 times a second. When the rider leans slightly forward, the Segway moves forward. When the rider leans slightly back, the Segway moves backward.
Are Segways easy to ride?
Yes. It takes about 5 minutes to get familiar with the basics. Actual training will be longer to ensure you are comfortable with how the machine handles different textured surfaces.
How safe is a Segway? Will I fall?
Most people feel if they try riding a Segway they will be the one person who falls. Segways are designed to stay balanced. You will be trained on the complete operation of the machine. You will find it difficult to fall as long as you follow what you learn in our safety training. It is important that Segway riders understand their responsibility to ride safely. Proper skill level and understanding of the Segway prevents injuries caused by loss of control or misuse.
Are Segways gas powered?
No. They run on very special Lithium cell batteries.
How long does a charge last?
A fully charged machine can go for about 3.5 to 4.5 hours. That can also be anywhere from 18 to 24 miles.
How will I hear the tour guide’s commentary?
We use two-way radios on a special frequency so that participants can hear the narration throughout the entire tour.
What happens if it rains?
The activity only runs in good weather conditions for the safety of passengers. Therefore the seller may cancel the activity up until the start time in the event of rain, wind or other inclement weather conditions. If the seller cancels the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule tickets (subject to availability) or receive credit for a future event.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
All Segway riders must sign a liability waiver before participating. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.
I am a local - will I enjoy this tour?
Though you may have seen the sights before, you will still enjoy the unique experience of gliding around the area on a Segway and seeing it all from a different perspective.
Can I buy food or drinks along the way? What about souvenirs?
Prior to arrival into Celebration we have places you may stop to buy a light snack and a beverage. There are some shops you may visit for gift purchases. Keep in mind that the tour is time sensitive. Any stops will minimize the time you will have to enjoy the beauty of Celebration.
Where does the tour end?
Tours start and end at our shop. The exact location will be provided to you after purchasing your ticket.
Do Segways have the ability to store bags, purses?
We have the ability to transport necessary items i.e. cameras, wallets, etc. All other personal belongs will be kept in the meeting location. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Is there parking available at the starting location?
Yes, there is free parking available at our shop.
Are the tours conducted in English only?
Yes, our tours are mainly conducted in English, however, tours can also be offered in Spanish. If you are interested in taking one of tours in Spanish, please click on the "Contact ZETours" link to make arrangements.
Are there restrooms available?
Yes, we have two restrooms available at the meeting location. But there are no easily accessible restroom stops along the tour route. If you should need to stop, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
Are Segway rentals available?
We do not offer Segway rentals, but we do offer "Segway Ride Arounds" for those who don't have the time to take a guided tour. After a training session to show you how to ride safely, you can head out on your own in our preselected area. It is an open area behind the training facility and is quite sizable.
Can I arrange for a private tour or event?
Yes, we offer private group tours, up to 12 Segways, for corporate functions and private events. We offer drop-off and pick-up of the Segways as well as provide guides to assist with training, information and support throughout your event. Are gift certificates available?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded and cannot be rescheduled because your space is being guaranteed at the event.

All participants must meet age and weight requirements.
All Segway riders must be age 14 or older and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Each rider must weigh at least 100 pounds and no more than 250 pounds.
Not suitable for pregnant women or people with previous neck or back injuries.
Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we do not recommend Segway tours for those with previous neck or back injuries and pregnant women are not allowed to participate.

We offer a number of different tour options, including a "Ride Around" option should you decide a tour is too long for you. You can zip around for 30 minutes in a predetermined area for your safety. You will have a blast no matter which option you choose. Our guided tours can host up to 6 people at a time. The "Ride Around" option can have up to 12 people at a time.
