Activity Description
Experience both Lexington and Concord’s famous sites! On the ride through these two historic towns, we feel the exhilaration of the colonists as they chased Redcoats from behind stone walls and farmyard barns.

This is a private tour, consisting of only you and your party. One ticket admits a group of 1-6 guests. The tour lasts about 4 hours, including travel time from and back to your hotel or residence if you are staying in downtown Boston, and a short stop for lunch.

Our tour begins on Lexington Green, where, on April 19, 1775, 77 Minutemen stood their ground against 700 British Redcoats. You’ll re-live the roller-coaster ride of the emotions of the colonists on that day, as we visit:

  • The Buckman Tavern where the Minutemen gathered
  • Hancock Clark House where Paul Revere alerted John Hancock and Samuel Adams
We'll then travel to Concord, where we visit the Old North Bridge, site of the Minuteman statue, and “the shot heard ’round the world.” Concord is home to outstanding 19th century authors, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson; you'll visit the resting place of these inspirational writers, aptly named “Authors Ridge,” in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.

You take a guided tour of one of the following (admission not included in tour price):
  • Orchard House, home of Louisa May Alcott; view the desk where the famous author penned Little Women
  • The Concord Museum, which provides a wonderful insight into this historic town
Our tour concludes by Walden Pond, made famous by Henry David Thoreau.

What Is Not Included?
Lunch, which you can purchase at one of the tour stops, is not included in the price of the tour. We recommend you bring approximately $8-16.

Entrance to sites that have their own entry fees is not included in the price of the tour. Certain sites cost approximately $3-$8 per person to view the inside, so please bring extra cash (approximately $10-$15).
