I had previously taken other food tours and Jess was the tour guide for one of those. I was thrilled when I realised that she would be our guide again. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough vegetarian tasting options but there were plenty. The food was very tasty and I enjoyed finding out about the history of China town.

We saw parts of the city we would not have otherwise gone to and explored. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the culture and food. We had a great time!

This was our group's 3 food tour and we filled out the entire tour with 13 people on the Chinatown Tour. Our tour guide Lisa was very knowledgeable and made the day amazing. The food was great and so was the history of the area. I would highly recommend this tour, but make sure you are hungry! After it we took the water taxi back towards the loop.

This Food Tour of Chinatown is at the top of my recommended list for places to see and things to do while in Chicago.....this is one tour that ANYONE is able to do.

A Fantastic Experience

I felt that the tour is well worth the price. I am in Chicago for a month for school, and wanted to get the most out of my time here. My tour guide was friendly, informative, and very knowledgable about Chinatown and the culture and food within it. The food itself was unique and full of flavor, and I now know more about Chinese culture, geography, and how it all pertains to their food. I look forward to the other tours I have booked. The time I am spending in Chicago will be much enjoyed. I recommend this tour for locals and visitors alike.

Well worth the time and money!!

This was a great tour. It not only included tasty food (and lots of it!), but also some cultural insite. Our guide (Lisa, I think) was very knowledgeable and provided enough information that I would be comfortable to go back to Chinatown with friends and eat at any of the restaurants we tried or any of the other ones on the recommended list! Our friends visiting from Australia were thrilled with the tour as well!

In love with the Chinatown Tour!

My boyfriend, mom and I partook in the Chinatown tour this past Saturday... and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Alliya (sp) was our tour guide, she is a chef herself and was so knowledgeable on Chinese culture. We went to 5 different locations which included dim sum, Szechuan style, Peking duck, Chinese pastries, and tea. One of the best attributes of these tours are the fusion of culture and food. We stepped into a Buddhist temple and gained so much info on the rich heritage of new and old Chinatown. The restaurants that were selected were all picked with care and were all top notch. I cant wait until I have guests in town again to do the Bucktown tour!!
