Chinatown Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour

This was a fun tour with lots of good food. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I recommend it as a great way to experience Chinatown--particularly if you've never been.

This tour was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot about Chinese culture and especially their different styles of cuisine. The food was delicious and our tour guides very friendly and easy to talk to. The tour made a dim sum fan out of me!

Tour was an interesting combination of great food with great variety, along with culture and history. Hillary was an excellent tour guide.

The sights, sounds and tastes of a place that seems so foreign but just around the corner in Chicago were thoroughly enjoyed. Our guide was super knowedgeable and made everything fun. Food was outstanding, and now I know the different regional cooking styles from China. A little pricey, but worth it!

Our tour guide was well versed in the history of Chinese migration. Learned a lot about the culinary differences in the regions. Enjoyed the neighborhood walk!

Although my family and I have been to Chinatown many times, this tour provided a deeper appreciation and exposure to the food and culture of this vibrant neightborhood we would never have been able to access on our own. The tour was most definitely worth the price.

Fantastic opportunity to get an insiders view of an area of the city most people don't visit. The guide was extremeley knowledgeable about the area and the cuisine and the tour allowed us to try a variety of places that we would not have known about otherwise. This is the 2nd food tour we have taken from this company and we can't wait to schedule the third. They do an excellent job balancing the walking with the eating and I highly recommend them.

Hillary was our guide and she was delightful! She had lots of good information both about the food and the culture. She delivered it with ease and humor--really enjoyed her. The walk through Chinatown was interesting and educational. The tastes were varied and delicious. We tried things we might not have otherwise. Lao Sze Chuan was written up in the paper today saying their dry-chili chicken is one of the best dishes at this year's Taste! That was one of my favorites--hot, hot, hot!

We had a wonderful time tasting and learning about the foods in Chinatown. Shane was full of information and interesting details. The food was delicous.
