| I originally scheduled the tour of Brooklyn, but made a mistake in my scheduling. Debra, from hush tours was very understanding and she rescheduled me and my wife for the Harlem/Bronx tour without any kickback. Originally I wanted to go on the Brooklyn tour because that is where my favorite rappers from the era of hip hop I know. However, I think my mistake was a Godsend because going on the Harlem/Bronx tour was amazing. Grandmaster Caz and JDL from the Cold Crush really knows their history. After all they lived it. They did an excellent job of actually taking you back to the late 70s and early 80s when it all begin. Being able to stop and see and walk some of the legendary spots I have read, and/or heard about was almost overwhelming for me. I would recommend this tour for anyone who loves hip hop. | ||||||

| This was a great tour. If you or your family is into Hip Hop, I promise you they will love the tour. I had two 13 year old boys with me and they absolutely loved it. So that should speak volume all by itself. The service was done on a professional level. The tour guide (DJ Grand Master Caz and DL Boogie(?)) was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Mighty Mouse the b-boy dancer was awesome and the graffiti wall was unbelievable. If I'm ever in NY again, I will definitely do the tour again. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the tour. It was great background before going to In the Heights on Broadway that same evening. My mom really like it too but found the music loud at the end when she had heard enough. It makes me apreciate the music more to know how it all began. Would have like to see more dancing. | ||||||

| I loved Reggie Reg's camaraderie with our group and with the neighborhood. Since he was from there, he knew everyone on the street and they respected our tour and we felt safe and welcome despite not being from "the hood". He showed us a good variety of both broader history and also hip hop history of the area, and it was nicely timed-not too long. Also, he was very engaging and personal and ate lunch with us afterwards! Great way to see NYC for those of us who hate being typical tourists... | ||||||

| The tour is amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Grandmaster Caz and JDL are even more charismatic and informative then you could hope for. And really, who could be better guides to entertain you as they give you the real of the birth of Hip-Hop!? If you consider yourself at all part of the Hip-Hop movement from anywhere in the world you MUST take this tour. Peace | ||||||

| First I would like to say Thank You for having this tour. I have been wanting to visit New York since I was a little kid, and going to the place where Hip Hop was born was on the top of my list. I wanted to rent a car and drive to some of these places my self but this was much better. You can't get any better than having members of the Legendary Cold Crush Brothers as your tour guides, let me repeat. It does not get any better then having members of the Legendary Cold Crush Brothers as your tour guides. They were there when it started, they were why it started. Total respect goes out to them. It is a four hour journey through the History of Hip Hip hop. I always read about these places or heard them mentioned on multiple songs, but to actually see them was worth every penny. My favorite part of the tour would have to be visiting the Graffiti Hall of Fame and Sedgwick Ave. Take this tour and learn through people who were actually there when Hip Hop was at its infant stages. Can't wait to go back. | ||||||

Our tour was being hosted by GRANDMASTER CAZ also of The Cold Crush Brothers! Both dudes we're so knowledgeable & humble. Awesome Tour learning facts about Hip Hop && very entertaining what the guys have in store for you. I'd definitely recommend this Tour & would easily do it again if given the option Fraser From Australia | ||||||

| On August 10th, 2010 I flew all the way out from Seattle, WA to take my mother on a tour of Harlem (walk This Way) to learn the real story about Hip Hop and how it started. My tour guide was JDL of the Cold Crush Brothers. I am a Hip Hop music producer and longtime Hip Hop junkie. I have read many books and watched many videos; however, JDL's tour is the most authentic, accurate, and knowledgeable representation of Hip Hop I have ever encountered in person. While, I knew a great deal of knowledge pertaining to Hip Hop, there is nothing like hearing one of the pioneers of Hip Hop tell the story the RIGHT way. JDL was extremly friendly, professional, and proivded excellent customer service. I did not feel like I was on a tour, I felt like I was spending time with a friend and just talking straight Hip Hop as we walked through Harlem viewing many historic landmarks. What takes JDL's presentation to the next level was the detailed stories he told about landmarks and the birth of Hip Hop. i can honestly say, you will never find these stories in a book or any form of media...and if you do, it will not be as accurate as JDL would explain. I was honored to spend time with JDL who I learned about as a young boy through watching the move Wild Style and listening to Cold Crush's music. It has only been one day and i wish I could relive the tour...this was an expereince, i will never forget and hope to share with all my friends. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GOING ON THIS TOUR DONT CONSIDER ANYMORE...JUST DO IT! You will never expereince anything like this anywhere else in the world. I reccomend this to individuals, famlies, couples, and to everyone who is interested in Hip Hop. If you have questions please contact me, I would be happy to share my expereince in greater detail. JDL thank you so much for everything you have done over your career to open the door to the Hip Hop culture for all of us to expereince. Thanks, Sickamore Soundz (Seattle, WA) | ||||||

| I decided to surprise my husband who is a die hard hip hop fan with this tour. He was really surprised! The tour guides were great! They knew their material, were very enthusiastic, interesting and funny! I loved how they got the group involved. Our group was very diverse. I would recommend going with true hip hop lovers and at least 4 people you know. | ||||||

| This is a great tour for those Hip Hop fans that want to learn more about the orgins of Hip Hop. Plus, see the sites where it all too place. I thought I knew the story but to hear it from people who lived it gave me a whole new outlook. JDL and Caz did their thing! They were great host. Two very down to earth brothas. I would definitely recommend the "Bronx, Harlem Birthplace of Hip Hop tour" and I look forward to taking one of the many other tours on my next vist to NY. | ||||||
