I strongly recommend people attend the Hip Hop tour whether they are Hip Hop enthusiasts like myself or just tourists to New York who want to experience something off the beaten path. Meeting a legend like Grandmaster Caz of the mighty Cold Crush Four was my highlight as well as experiencing the sights and sounds of Uptown Harlem and the BX. The Soul Food lunch was also delicious! Next time I visit NYC I am sure I will book on the Queens tour to experience some more of the hip hop sights in the other boroughs and hopefully get to meet Mikey D of the LA Posse. We went on this tour with Grandmaster Caz, He's a good guide there was only one negative thing, me and my mother were there on a day that a Large group dancers ( or whatever ) went with us... so when Caz asked who liked his song almost everybody puts there hand in the air.. but ofcourse only the large group gets that song.. thats a lillte pitty .. In general, it was a great tour !!

We went on the Hip Hop Tour conducted by Grandmaster Caz on 3/31. Very informative and fun! I think what people may overlook about the tour is that is may give you an opportunity to see other parts of the city that you would overlook if you concentrated only on midtown. Also, the lunch place has really great food. Highly recommended

Would have liked to seen more graffiti on the tour, but otherwise it was great.

The tour was dope, GM CAZ has alot of charizma and will keep you focused. Most of the stuff he said I already knew but even so was still cool just to listen to him. I hoped to be taken to see more graf sites and more points of interest, but all good never the less. P.S: the soul food restaurant that you get taken to is tasty S*?T!!!!! Respect to the organisers and GM CAZ

Hi I'd just like to thank the tour organisers and our guide for the day, Kurtis Blow! Due to the snow tour was delayed( understandable) but was well worth the wait for a very personal tour through hip hop culture from its humble beginnings.. great to get stories from one who was there 1st hand .. funny witty and very educational. You could tell all who are involved in the tour have put their heart and soul into the project. Very good that they keep it to small numbers ( 12 on my tour) - making it a very personal touch. tour was ended by Kurtis freestyling on the coach back to manhattan... awesome. Was my 1st time in New York and this was definitely the highlight for me.. Recommend this to anyone who likes to delve into music culture and, anyone who just wants a tour a little bit different to the normal tourist trips! Well done one and all for a briliant tour - damn sure i will do it again on my return ---- Keep the vibe alive, peace Carl from Warrington - England

I grew up in FL in a town that was almost 50% NYC transplants. My friends were almost entirely Inner City NY B-Boys. At 17 I finally made the journey to "mecca" aka NYC. I was able to see the borroughs that my crew crew up in. Brooklyn, Bronx, and Uptown. After high school I did whatever I could to move to the city. It was a great experience. I grew up as a hip hop head and loved every bit of it. It seemed that after high school however, hip hop became too "Gangster". All the artists would talk about was who had the best cars, gear, and who could shoot the best. Hip hop had become too commercial for it's own good. I started to lose interest. For a long time, all I simply lived in the past playing all my old tracks. The tour was very informative, it was cool to meet Reggie Reg and get first hand knowledge of the origins of hip hop. Reg was passsionate about the culture and was eager to share it with everyone. I would reccomend this tour to all my old school crew. We grew up reading the source and rap pages and we had a lot of knowledge but no one can pull it all together like the crew that was there. thanks! -Peace-

The tour was fun and insightful...a little long, but fun nonetheless...Manna's Soul Food was dope, excellent food for sure...I learned a lot about Hip-Hop history, and it was fun listening to some of the first songs ever recorded in the name of Hip-Hop...good job, and I appreciate it. Have more cd's for sale next time, and it'd be a perfect tour! Peace

I highly recomended this tour. A lot of love has been put into this project meaning the lady (Sorry I forget your name) who runs the tour company accompanies the patrons and makes sure that people are enjoying themselves though it is more about the dream than the investment for her. Reggie Reg (tour guide) is an educated man who was part of the pionnering hip hop groups and he is an excellent tour guide who has the knowledge of hip hop New York and loves to share it. It's a lot of fun and it will be one of the most original, enjoyable and heartfelt tours you'll ever do.

I’d recommend the Hush Tour to anyone going to New York for several reasons. First of all it’s a great way to see the city so you can explore the sites further on your own afterwards. Secondly you’re sure to have a great time no matter if you know some of the stuff beforehand, because it’s told in such an entertaining and personal fashion. But mainly you get to see the real sites, hear the real stories and hang out with the actual pioneers. If you go on a tour of Pompeii, you can get a guide that’s knowledgeable and can even make the history seem alive, but you can’t get a guide that’s lived the history. Reggie Reg and Grandmaster Caz were incredible guides and we commend them for their work. Hush Tour is the best tour I’ve ever been on, and the one that I’ve taken the most away from.

I warmly recommend this tour to everyone. I really liked the stories Caz and Reggie told while we were rolling through places where they took place. Also the food place was great. And the music...
