| Mikey D! Thanks for giving us the REAL QUEENS experience. It was wonderful to see the actual influences and inspiration that Queens has contributed to the Hip Hop Culture. Mikey D, made my friend and I feel like family. You took us back in the day and it was good trip down memory lane! Great Job! | ||||||

| The walking hip-fop tour was incredible!! The tour guide was knowledgable and very open to questions and conversation. A great way to see a part of NYC history ignored by the major tour companies. | ||||||

| We are a couple from Austria and did the tour as part of our ten days New York stay. Grandmaster Caz really made an effort to convey what hip hop was about in the early days. So if you want to get an idea of the locations and people that created the hip hop culture in new york in the late 70 s this is probably he best tour you can get. You also get to see some parts of the city most other tours would not get you to. (Spanish Harlem, Bronx, the Lennox / 125th corner in harlem,...) We considered it an important part of the cities culture one should not miss. After all you cant ask Chagal what his paintings meant in the Museum of modern Art, but you can ask Grandmaster Caz. So get there and do so! Very entertaining and informative! | ||||||

| My 13 yr old son and I just got back from New York for our first visit. The highlight of our stay was Queensbridge & Hollis Rap Tour through Hush Tours. Debra, the founder of the company, along with Mikey D led our "group". In fact, it was just myself and my son since this is a new tour. Instead of cancelling due to low turn out - Debra arranged for herself and Mikey D in his silver jeep to head out and about. The VIP treatment for us that day! We checked out graffitti at 5 Points - saw Queensbridge, saw where many of today's leading rappers like 50 Cent, LL Cool J grew up and hung out. Dropped by the MTV "The Shop" and so much more..... The tour and our hosts where Informative, engaging, knowedgeable, fun, and interesting. As my son says - "it was an amazing experience - will defintely go back again" So please, everyone, support this tour, this incredible woman and the rapper's who make it all happen for us "tourists". I can't say enough great things - you won't be disappointed.!!!! | ||||||

| It was very informative and at the same time lively - it was nice to get to know the narrators on a personal level. We got to see every hidden corner of Harlem and the true roots of hip hop which made you really appreciate it to it's fullest and get behind the whole movement. Lunch is fantastic! I didnt feel like I needed to eat again for a whole week, the food was that good - real soul food! Stops on the tour included the Graffiti Hall of Fame which oozed vibrance and character, Rucker Park where a few of us shot hoops!,The Walk of fame in the Bronx...awesome. Interaction was great and everyone was involved. Definately is a must do if visiting New York. | ||||||

| The tour was really well organised and even not being an expert in Hip Hop it gave a good insight on the start of it and its history. In addition it was fantastic to get some impression on the variety of Harlem. We really recommend the tour! | ||||||

| Loved this tour!! Guides were informative and was a very relaxed vibe. Great lunch stop - recommend the cheeseburgers!!!!! Places of interest were relevant, and especially enjoyed 5 Points. Would recommend this tour to any fan of hip hop - but would suggest that you order the package that includes the tshirts - we didn't thinking we could pick them up on the tour, but none were available. | ||||||

| I enjoyed this trip however we and other passengers were all very disappointed that the pioneers of hip hop tour was cancelled and we were sent on this. It is, I would assume, a completely different tour, I (we) weren't really interested in hearing about the likes and music of Ja Rule, 50 Cent etc. So it wasn't a really suitable replacement. I guess my negative opinion stems from the fact there was 9 people on our tour and 4 of them had booked for the other tour, so I felt maybe they should have asked us if we'd like to pay more to have this tour cancelled and take the other, or just have a smaller group (I would have!!) It was really meant to be the highlight of my overseas trip so I was pretty depressed about it. Having said that, Mikey D was a great host, we saw a lot of queens, and had a pretty good time. It was better than not going at all :) | ||||||

| This tour was exactly what I needed from my first NY visit. Being that I'm from Los Angeles and grew up in Watts/Compton/South Central and being able to witness the growth of Hip Hop on the west coast, your tour was exactly what I need to balance out my experience. I would have never knew where to start looking had I tried to go and find these spots on my own. Props due and given for giving me a broader vision and deeper respect for how hip hop has grown from Sedgwick and Cedar. Your tour was the highlight of my visit. Peace.
