My teenage kids and I enjoyed this tour. The walking was a reasonable pace and we saw Harlem, heard the stories and the music. We really loved the stop at the park and seeing the graffiti work. It is amazing. Reggie was very interested in all of the group and spent extra time with us, showing us the music shop, a real soul food lunch and a real graffiti shop. I can say without hesitation that this tour is for everyone and the most memoriable experience of our vacation.

The tour was dope, GM CAZ has alot of charizma and will keep you focused. Most of the stuff he said I already knew but even so was still cool just to listen to him. I hoped to be taken to see more graf sites and more points of interest, but all good never the less. P.S: the soul food restaurant that you get taken to is tasty S*?T!!!!! Respect to the organisers and GM CAZ

My husband, son and I all had a wonderful time on the hip hop tour. We all found it very educational and entertaining. My son is an aspiring rapper so he especially enjoyed it. I would recommend the tour to anyone who has an interest in music and it's history! Alan, Susan and Greg Joyce

Incredible Tour - Incredible Experience!

My 13 yr old son and I just got back from New York for our first visit. The highlight of our stay was Queensbridge & Hollis Rap Tour through Hush Tours. Debra, the founder of the company, along with Mikey D led our "group". In fact, it was just myself and my son since this is a new tour. Instead of cancelling due to low turn out - Debra arranged for herself and Mikey D in his silver jeep to head out and about. The VIP treatment for us that day! We checked out graffitti at 5 Points - saw Queensbridge, saw where many of today's leading rappers like 50 Cent, LL Cool J grew up and hung out. Dropped by the MTV "The Shop" and so much more..... The tour and our hosts where Informative, engaging, knowedgeable, fun, and interesting. As my son says - "it was an amazing experience - will defintely go back again" So please, everyone, support this tour, this incredible woman and the rapper's who make it all happen for us "tourists". I can't say enough great things - you won't be disappointed.!!!!

Hi I'd just like to thank the tour organisers and our guide for the day, Kurtis Blow! Due to the snow tour was delayed( understandable) but was well worth the wait for a very personal tour through hip hop culture from its humble beginnings.. great to get stories from one who was there 1st hand .. funny witty and very educational. You could tell all who are involved in the tour have put their heart and soul into the project. Very good that they keep it to small numbers ( 12 on my tour) - making it a very personal touch. tour was ended by Kurtis freestyling on the coach back to manhattan... awesome. Was my 1st time in New York and this was definitely the highlight for me.. Recommend this to anyone who likes to delve into music culture and, anyone who just wants a tour a little bit different to the normal tourist trips! Well done one and all for a briliant tour - damn sure i will do it again on my return ---- Keep the vibe alive, peace Carl from Warrington - England

There were 12 people in our group, ranging in age from 16 to 60. We all agree that the package Hush Tours put together for us made our trip to New York absolutely unforgettable! The “pioneer of hip hop” that led our tour was truly an expert in all aspects of Harlem history, not just those relevant to hip hop. My 40+ year old husband and brother-in-law were rappin’ and dancin’ like they were about to be discovered. No one back home believed that Hush Tours could really “hook us up” with someone famous, but they did. We found ourselves laughing, singing, and truly being amazed the whole time. The thing we loved best about Hush Tours is that they also took the time to put together other customized shopping and sightseeing tours for us. By the time our vacation was over, we knew so much about the city it was like we had been there for months. I highly recommend Hush Tours to anyone who is planning a trip to New York City. I know we’ll look them up when we return… From Houston, Texas: Yvonne (Age 60) Dorothy (Age 59) Lee (Age 42) Ether (Age 42) Angie (Age 40) Johnell (Age 37) Shay (Age 21) Tim (Age 20) Jerne’ (Age 19) K.C. (Age 19) Patrick (Age 18) And the baby of the bunch – Lil Lee (Age 16)

the only thing better about learning hip hop history is being taken on a tour of the people who created it.

I grew up in FL in a town that was almost 50% NYC transplants. My friends were almost entirely Inner City NY B-Boys. At 17 I finally made the journey to "mecca" aka NYC. I was able to see the borroughs that my crew crew up in. Brooklyn, Bronx, and Uptown. After high school I did whatever I could to move to the city. It was a great experience. I grew up as a hip hop head and loved every bit of it. It seemed that after high school however, hip hop became too "Gangster". All the artists would talk about was who had the best cars, gear, and who could shoot the best. Hip hop had become too commercial for it's own good. I started to lose interest. For a long time, all I simply lived in the past playing all my old tracks. The tour was very informative, it was cool to meet Reggie Reg and get first hand knowledge of the origins of hip hop. Reg was passsionate about the culture and was eager to share it with everyone. I would reccomend this tour to all my old school crew. We grew up reading the source and rap pages and we had a lot of knowledge but no one can pull it all together like the crew that was there. thanks! -Peace-

An excellent and entertaining tour

It was such a good day out. Plenty of information about everything hip hop delivered in a fun way. Reggie is really passionate about everything hip hop and this rubs off on the people on the tour. Lots of opportunities to ask questions and chat There are also some fun surprises and I had a briliiant time even though I went on my own as my friends felt it was too 'hip hop' for them. They were wrong even if like Hip Hop but are not that knowledgeable about it you will still have a great time.
