I think it was informational fun and we all learned something, it was great going thru the city and stoping at different points. I think it was a great day had by all, thanks!!! | ||||||

| It has been almost one year since my family and I took the Hip Hop tour of Manhattan, Harlem and the Bronx. The Queens Bridge & Hollis tour is a nice complement for those seeking extra info. I must say that Mikey D. and Mark are very entertaining and you can tell they love their native borough of Queens. They made it as comprehensive as they could, pointing out to us all of the places and events that have shaped the hip hop culture within Queens. Thank you both for an enjoyable afternoon. | The tour was good fun and I thought first of all that my son would enjoy it more than me but that was not the case. I really enjoyed listening to the histoy of Hip-Hop and it's roots. The soul food was fab too! | ||||||

| I'm going home to look up details on the whole genre .. names in my memory coming back to me....exciting to be shown round by Mr. Blow, I looked him up on the internet and realised how pioneering he was and what he stands for now. and that restaurant was unexpected and just right. Our 10 year old has started making up rhymes A really good, memorable tourist experience, thanks | ||||||

| Having been to New York City many times, I would have to say that the Hip Hop Tour Led by the Pioneering Legends of Rap was one of the most enjoyable, interesting and authentic experience I've ever had there. The guides were engaging, passionate and excellent and both my 19 year old son and myself thouroughly had a blast. In fact, it was the only part of our 3 day N.Y. trip we kept talking about days afterwards. Thanks to Debra the organizer, Grand Master Caz , JDL, and Puerto Rico. A good time was had by all. | ||||||

| My son and myself had an awesome time on the tour with Grandmaster Caz! I consider myself well versed in Hip-Hop culture, but I learned alot of new things from Caz on the tour. The experience for my son will never be forgotten. Caz used him as his "teacher's assistant" and he was so excited and paid his full undivided attention throughout the whole tour. This is definitely needed, and I will pass on the info to the whole music and fashion industry contacts that i possess. Much continued success with the tour, and the history must be reinforced! This is an excellent way to do just that! THANK YOU! B-WARD | ||||||

| first of all i'm orietta's son...i 've found this tour very intresting. the graffiti area was just crazy..and all the rest we have seen was very exciting too... i think that the coolest thing of this tour is that it makes you feel what is the reality in which a lot of people live, together with all the rappers that you've heard in your headcuffs for years and years. i mean, you can't say you have seen New York if you see just manhattan. but actually you wouldn't be able to go to queens as a tourist with your whole family, cause (maybe) it could be dangerous. thats why i thank hip hop tours for giving me this experience. mikey d was just great. he said a lot of interesting things. maybe the music was a bit too loud...and you know, some old parent can't stand it...anyway, i had a great time, and i think that everything has been perfect. thank you a lot, peace! francesco. | ||||||

| ahh grandmaster caz has been one of the nicest teacher i ve ever known...yeah, he teaches...he tells you HOW it really began... he takes you to the holy land of hip hop, south bronx...which hip hop fan doesn't want to see the bronx and harlem? which international tourist would go to eat at a soul food restaurant in harlem? and believe me,soul food is the best food i've eaten in america! so, with the nice atmosphere apported by grandmaster caz (he's great) i had the chance to feel the reality of a part of NYC that not many tourists have ever seen. i think everyone should do it... thank you for all, peace! | ||||||

| Fab hosts really looked after us and we thought the graffiti stop was awesome! Perhaps we could have stopped in Queens at the town centre where all the hip hop bling was on sale to buy a few gifts. Otherwise a great day for true hip hop fans. Thanks again | ||||||

| This is a fun thing to do in NY and my ten year old son particularly enjoyed it. However, it does rely on the energy of the rest of the group to be really successful - which is something out of the hands of the tour guide. On our tour were approximately 20 people from a group, plus myself , my son and two others. I did feel that the large group overwhelmed the tour, excluded others and monopolized the tour. If you are in a group made up of friendly individuals/couples/families you'll have fun. That said though, Reggie Reg was great - if a little unprepared regarding his batteries (as mentioned by another person's review who was in this group), and I really feel that the film at the Museum of the City of New York was superfluous to the tour. It was great to see interesting historical sights of Harlem, especially BOBBY (it wasn't Smokey) ROBINSON'S Harlem Happy House record store, Malcolm X Mosque and the Graffitti wall of fame. An interesting way to while away a Sunday afternoon. | ||||||

| We had an amazing day with our fantastic tour guide, Reggie Reg. Our 18 year old son was the one who originally wanted this tour, but both my husband and I enjoyed it immensely. We recommend it to all visitors to NYC - it tells the history of Hip Hop, which is an important cultural factor today, AND it gives you hope for the future (if you ever lost it), because it emphasises the enthusiasm and joy of human beings. DO NOT miss this opportunity! | ||||||

Just took a long Walk and Talked Pretty Much

| The one speaker gave lots of information but we just walked and walked and he just talked and talked. Pointing out some things as we walked was the extent of the tour. Nothing exciting happened we did not actually go inside any building or viewed any demonstrations. I was very disappointed and so was my 16 year old. We were expecting something exciting to happen. I would have rated this lower but the speaker seemed enthusiastic about hip hop. There just was no substance to the tour. | ||||||
