| We had a unique opportunity to spend time with and learn about the beginning of the Hip Hop Culture that has become just as important and world changing in the music industry as Rock and Roll and Jazz. To get the chance to have such a professional tour through a fasinating and culture-rich community is price-less. We felt very safe and fortunate to have someone well known on the streets and we felt welcomed. My daughters were very amazed and impressed with all the locals who spoke to Reggie Reg. They truly felt that we were with a legend! There is such a wealth of knowledge a traveler can absorb by this type of wonderful resource in a unique tour! I would recommend anyone that loves music, appreciated history or has children....to support this tour and enjoy!~ | ||||||

| Very informative tour with enthusiastic and knowledgable guide, although we didn't know much about hip-hop, we learnt a great deal. Would have missed out on this area if we hadn't done the tour. | ||||||

| I am in agreement with most all of the reviews but would like to stress how great this was for my 13, 15 and 20 year old boys. They thought it was "hella tight" and posted their pics on myspace right when we got back. The history was interesting and this is something to do that not everyone has heard about so it makes it even more special. Thanks for a great time! | ||||||

| Went on this tour with my two sons aged 18 and 16 expecting just to go along for the ride. I was pleasantly surprised as Grandmaster Caz tok us all back to the days when hip-hop began. It was quite an education for all of us and I would recomend it highly to anyone with an interest in the roots of hip-hop and the new rap artists! | ||||||

| My teenage kids and I enjoyed this tour. The walking was a reasonable pace and we saw Harlem, heard the stories and the music. We really loved the stop at the park and seeing the graffiti work. It is amazing. Reggie was very interested in all of the group and spent extra time with us, showing us the music shop, a real soul food lunch and a real graffiti shop. I can say without hesitation that this tour is for everyone and the most memoriable experience of our vacation. | ||||||

| My 13 yr old son and I just got back from New York for our first visit. The highlight of our stay was Queensbridge & Hollis Rap Tour through Hush Tours. Debra, the founder of the company, along with Mikey D led our "group". In fact, it was just myself and my son since this is a new tour. Instead of cancelling due to low turn out - Debra arranged for herself and Mikey D in his silver jeep to head out and about. The VIP treatment for us that day! We checked out graffitti at 5 Points - saw Queensbridge, saw where many of today's leading rappers like 50 Cent, LL Cool J grew up and hung out. Dropped by the MTV "The Shop" and so much more..... The tour and our hosts where Informative, engaging, knowedgeable, fun, and interesting. As my son says - "it was an amazing experience - will defintely go back again" So please, everyone, support this tour, this incredible woman and the rapper's who make it all happen for us "tourists". I can't say enough great things - you won't be disappointed.!!!! | ||||||

| There were 12 people in our group, ranging in age from 16 to 60. We all agree that the package Hush Tours put together for us made our trip to New York absolutely unforgettable! The “pioneer of hip hop” that led our tour was truly an expert in all aspects of Harlem history, not just those relevant to hip hop. My 40+ year old husband and brother-in-law were rappin’ and dancin’ like they were about to be discovered. No one back home believed that Hush Tours could really “hook us up” with someone famous, but they did. We found ourselves laughing, singing, and truly being amazed the whole time. The thing we loved best about Hush Tours is that they also took the time to put together other customized shopping and sightseeing tours for us. By the time our vacation was over, we knew so much about the city it was like we had been there for months. I highly recommend Hush Tours to anyone who is planning a trip to New York City. I know we’ll look them up when we return… From Houston, Texas: Yvonne (Age 60) Dorothy (Age 59) Lee (Age 42) Ether (Age 42) Angie (Age 40) Johnell (Age 37) Shay (Age 21) Tim (Age 20) Jerne’ (Age 19) K.C. A Great Way to Teach Your Kids Hip Hop History...

| A great way to teach your kids about the history of Hip Hop culture. I thought I knew alot about Hip Hop, but I even learned some facts. Grandmaster Caz and Reggie Reg guided this tour through Harlem. These Old School pioneers know their stuff. I'm glad I brought my kids along for the tour, now they know more than whats on TV and the radio. They know about the real Hip Hop culture, sadly something they will not learn in school, not even in the public schools of New York City, in the city where Hip Hop started. It was a fun time spent with tourist from all over the world, with my kids and I. Highly recommend this tour for everyone. | ||||||

| Grandmaster Caz and Debra gave us more than we could ask for. We had a chance to be with one of the founders of hip hop and that in its self is priceless. I will always remember Caz's passion and dedication to the art of Hip-Hop and I can't thank Debra enough for HUSH productions and her commitment to the experience. Thank you! | ||||||

Our Hushtour was the highlight of our NYC visit.

| First, we were very happy that the Hushtour people found an alternate tour guide on the same day our guide was ill. Our alternate guide was Reggie Reg from the Crash Crew who experienced and knew everything about the early hip hop days and personally knew most of the other people who are the hip hop pioneers (as well as half the people we met on the street!). He was very kind to us, directed comments to all of us, asked us questions about what we already knew, etc. We walked from 106th street up to 125th street with the narrative going non stop about the chronology of hip hop events starting back in the 70's. When the tour was over, Reggie Reg helped us figure out our transportation back and personally escorted us there. My 18 year old daughter was loving it. Lots of opportunities for great pics too. Recommended highly. | ||||||
