| We were 2 adults and 2 teenage boys( 13 and 15) with a limited knowledge of hip hop. It was the perfect activity to please eveyone and took us to places that we never would have visited otherwise. We were very excited to meet Rahim! He was a great guide : informative, entertaining and just a really nice guy. Good lunch. We all loved it - a great day which I would thoroughly recommend. | ||||||

| Grandmaster cas was cool. Good tour and really looked after us. Could do witha few more sites / attractions on the tour, but all in all, lots of fun and a good idea by the organiser. | ||||||

| Raheem was an excellent guide - he really knew his stuff, the boom box with "The Message" blaring out down the street was a nice touch. The tour was relaxed, but very informative and we learnt a lot about Harlem and the Bronx -so I would recommend this tour for anyone and not just Hip Hop heads! We were in NYC on our honeymoon and I have to say that this tour really was the icing on the cake! Ben and Rachel Allen Bristol UK | ||||||

| This is a fun thing to do in NY and my ten year old son particularly enjoyed it. However, it does rely on the energy of the rest of the group to be really successful - which is something out of the hands of the tour guide. On our tour were approximately 20 people from a group, plus myself , my son and two others. I did feel that the large group overwhelmed the tour, excluded others and monopolized the tour. If you are in a group made up of friendly individuals/couples/families you'll have fun. That said though, Reggie Reg was great - if a little unprepared regarding his batteries (as mentioned by another person's review who was in this group), and I really feel that the film at the Museum of the City of New York was superfluous to the tour. It was great to see interesting historical sights of Harlem, especially BOBBY (it wasn't Smokey) ROBINSON'S Harlem Happy House record store, Malcolm X Mosque and the Graffitti wall of fame. An interesting way to while away a Sunday afternoon. | ||||||

| I went on this tour with my Mom and brother and sister. We had no idea of what to expect...then Kurtis Blow walks on the bus! It was great to learn all the history of rap and to see some of the places I had heard about. The taping at the Apollo was the best part and the grafitti wall. They could have played more music on the bus.... | ||||||

| My husband is a big hip hop fan & I went along for the ride! But this was great for both of us - he was able to ask questions about things he already knew aswell as finding out new things & getting to see legendary hip hop sites, & I was able to get an understanding of some of the background to hip hop culture. It was also a great way to see some different parts of new york. | ||||||

On our tour, Reggie Reg (Crash Crew) and Raheem (Furious Five) took us on a journey to understanding and appreciating hip hop culture from its inception to its influence on popular culture today. The tour was interactive, tasty (yummy soul food in Harlem), and without doubt the highlight of our visit to New York. Thank you Hush Tours for this great experience! | ||||||

| The tour was really great and interesting. Visited loads of places with great commentary from Curtis Blow and Reggie Reg. Would definately reccommend the tour when in New York. i particularly enjoyed going to the appollo and didnt expect to be able to go in definately an added bonus and an honour.Thanks. | ||||||

| There were 12 people in our group, ranging in age from 16 to 60. We all agree that the package Hush Tours put together for us made our trip to New York absolutely unforgettable! The “pioneer of hip hop” that led our tour was truly an expert in all aspects of Harlem history, not just those relevant to hip hop. My 40+ year old husband and brother-in-law were rappin’ and dancin’ like they were about to be discovered. No one back home believed that Hush Tours could really “hook us up” with someone famous, but they did. We found ourselves laughing, singing, and truly being amazed the whole time. The thing we loved best about Hush Tours is that they also took the time to put together other customized shopping and sightseeing tours for us. By the time our vacation was over, we knew so much about the city it was like we had been there for months. I highly recommend Hush Tours to anyone who is planning a trip to New York City.
