Join us as we welcome visitors to the 2009 Bronx Week Celebration.
The Birthplace of hip hop is a banner we wear with pride. In fact, it's not hard to visit the city without seeing and hearing signs of the rich musical heritage that resonates through every street in town. Many of the city's most popular sights concern music, but other spots important to hip hop history remain unmarked, and largely unvisited, and we aim to change that.
Since June 2000, we have been inviting our guests to join us in celebration of New York City as the birthplace of Hip Hop culture! We have been featured on MTV, VH1, BET and The Fuse Network along with numerous other national and international press outlets.
Our vision is to preserve the roots of hip hop culture while offering our guests an opportunity to revisit present day history. This fact finding tour allows visitors to meet, greet and be guided by hip hop legends like Grandmaster Caz, Kurtis Blow, Raheim, Reggie Reg and an assortment of others. Customers are taught the true essence of hip hop culture in an educational and entertaining format.
Hush Tours is an active member of NYC & Company, SYTA, The Bronx Tourism Council, and the East Harlem Tourism Board.

Participate in a Historical Event!
The Hip Hop tours, hosted by Grandmaster Caz will take visitors on the journey of the history of Hip Hop from its beginnings in the Boogie Down Bronx. The tours designed for hip hop enthusiasts, old school fans and new legions fans from all over the world will feature live entertainment, hip hop sites, record stores, video locations while celebrating the 2009 Bronx Walk of Fame Inductees which include Grand Wizard Theodore, Melissa Manchester, Tony Orlando & many more.
Activity Description
Travel uptown to Harlem and the Boogie Down Bronx, pointing out Hip Hop landmarks along the way as well as taking guests to visit the legendary Bronx locations as seen in the first hip hop film Wild Style.
This tour is appropriate for Hip Hop enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds, from all locations around the world.
Your celebrity tour guide(s) will entertain and educate you on the relevance of each location we visit. Along the way, they'll illustrate the locations' impact on the formation of Hip Hop as well as Hip Hop's impact on these locations.
